...ongoing wiring ,cables ,lines etc , some are now being clamped to the frame.... using a lot of tiny a/m details ,and a lot more to go ....

...and with the progress pickin' up , the turbo charger installed with the pipe to the plenum , and the pipe to the air cleaner , one of the coolest pieces on the bike...also wiring and cables etc being done  as well.

Wiring in play ,you will see , battery cables + & - ,main power cable , handlebar wiring , tach cable , and an air valve in the right fork top nut with a wire to cross over the left fork to represent the air forks. All of these items are of differing types of materials and makeup. The copper wire will be threaded through to the side panel,  then painted as the paint will fall off if painted prior. This is where the machine begins to come alive ,the tiny details adding up fast. This is aboot 2 hours work.

Right then Doog -Thanks . Here is the model for today with the forks on , the front wheel , the swingarm , and then the rear wheel . Those of you following from the beginning , the beginning of krow113 , will remember the mounting plate fashioned to hold the model during final assy.

Those pipes are looking righteous!!!

Work today included: Blue and red translucent paint on the headers and turbo/pipe .

Reds...

Also I sanded the body parts ,revealing the c/f decals and other details , all these parts today are ready for installation on the bike after the flat clear coat dries.

Camera is not co-operatin' gettin' p/oed! I did a lot of work on theframe assy as well ,chipping ,scratching , rubbing paint off , Also hooked up the nitrous lines and painted some anodised fittings.

Great use of color on the engine, thats truly stunning. Seeing the Bike sitting on the base........................ Wow!

 Here is a coupla shots of the piece. I see the 'look' of the work beginning to emerge. The bike is pinned together at this point , I hope to get the frame sorted for final assy soon.

The base is looking the part perfectly, nicely done!

As promised here is the engine, and oiltank/battery tray installed in the frame .Wimpy Berna clamps finally get some use , and popsicle sticks to align the tubes.

And the carbs detailed out with a gas line fitting , throttle rod and cable attachment , choke rod and lever ,nitrous lines into the manifolds and drain lines from the float bowls. A lotta parts and work ,the rods go through all the carbs , but only aboot $ .25 worth of stuff.

Here is the magneto install beginning, the battery box detail,and some small detail painting.

Wow that cross bow is the shiznit, its real close to the full scale Barnett I've got ,nicely done!!! I caught the 190 build that is some nice work!

Finished off the crossbow. Single strand of wire with 2 pc. Minemeca .018" tubing to secure to the s/steel p/e fret 'bow' all attached to cut-down rifle.Household pin for a 'bolt'. The mount is under ,held by the tweezers for the photo,this will drop into a tube on the bike.

Tires sanded with 220 ......

These can dry for a while ,back to the killer D-9....

Pawel and Trey Thanks for your interest and comments .I am poised to get some assembly done on this,waiting for paint to cure.. I am on the big FW 190 right now ,check it in the aircraft forum.

Some more done on the frame: I sprayed some chrome patches which I will cover with some black

then sand through to replicate paint worn through . Any one with a dirt bike will know what I mean.

These pics will be used as a reference when  do the sanding.

Wheel work . I tried the hairspray treatment ,first time for me, Alberto VO 5 , when I got a wiff of the stuff it reminded me of me old Mum - Any way I think it looks ok for the mutation situation.

Here is the hsprayed piece.

This is after the flat black acrylic is applied ,cool crackel finish .

After dry time I scrubbed with a toothbrush ,but not too much! ,turned out very nicely.

Some more dry time then a flat clear coat ....

Here are all the parts with thier various finishes .I still need to distress the body parts and the wheels.Lookin' at final assembly .I want to finish one model a month this year, got Che' done ,this may be next.
