What models would you like to see?

1/144 DH Comet (new molding)

1/144 HK-1 Hercules AKA Spruce Goose

And the various commuters, shorthaul and regional airliners like the Embraers, Bombardiers, and the lil prop jobs.

No resin or Vacuform.

beech craft travel air 1959 small rear window { could be two in one kit with the larger rear window} I spent a lot of time in the fifth seat buried in gear. My dad got a legal modification to store are snow skis aft of the seats in a custom compartment down the body to the tail, and for interior they could do dual steering OR the single that could be shifted from pilot to co pilot... Cessna golden eagle, Cessna P 210 and a twin piper, retracts and wing tip tanks.

I would like to see a kit for the Socata TBM-700 - 1:48 or larger. This plane is on my boss' short list of "what to buy if I win the lottery" and I'd love to build it for his desk. Probably the closest he'll come to owning one actually.

Haven't been able to locate a kit so far.

Don't know of any in 1:48, but there are a couple of Beech D-18 kits out there in 1:72.  I am working on one now.  I have the Encore kit, which only has decals for a US military and a British civil, so I am working on us civil decals myself.

Special Hobbies has a very nice Lodestar kit in 1:72 (Beech D-18 is not Lodestar).  I have one- eager to build as it looks very nice. The Super Electra is extremely similar to Lodestar and I am thinking of getting another to convert to Super Electra.

There is a regular Electra on market again in 1:72.

I don't have room for a collection of such planes in 1:48.   Amazing the space they take when you build very many of these Golden Age aircraft!  So I am happy with the 1:72.

I'd like to see a 1/72 Gulfstream IV and V.

I doubt we will ever see TWA markings for a model again. AA owns their brand now, and AA has a pack of mad dog lawyers who go after anyone who makes anything with their logo.

I would pay extra if needed to for officially licensed stuff but I don't think American is even interested in the idea, or they ask so much a run of just a few hundred decal sheets would be insanely expensive.

Note: I am presently building a 1/72 DC-6B which I scored AA markings for.

Both Minicraft and Revell Germany have released kits in the last few years — since AA's buyout of TWA —with TWA (and American) decals.

Since writing this last in July 2012, the following models have been released:

Gallery Models released a 1/350 scale USS New York, San Antonio Class LPD which I have already pucrhased.  A very fine model including over 1400 parts, lots of PE, and detailed hangar, vheicle deck, and detailed well deck with several MV-22, CH-53s and AH-1A helos, LCACs, etc.  Will be a really fun build.

Fujimi released a 1/350 scale Japanese JMSDF Hyuga DDH-181.  Very detailed with a small PE sprue, but otherwise lots of very good plastice detail for this helo carrier.  I also have purchased this vessel for the center piece of a JMSDF group I will build centered on her.

Welsh Models released a 1/72 scale P-8A Poseidon, which I ahve alo ordered.  Very well detailed and the only one out there.  A little pricey, but they have such rich detail I feel it worth it and am looking forward to building it to sit next to my 1/72 scale P-3C Orion.

Still watining for a 1/350 scale USS Gerald R. Ford, CVN-78, a 1/350 scale HMS Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier, a 1/350 scale HMS Ocean LHD, and several of those other vessels for my several 1/350 scale carrier strke groups I am building.

I went ahead an bought all of the French vessels from Heller in 1/350 scale, including the Charles De Gaulle, two lafayette FFGS, and the Dusquene and De Grasse DDGs.  Would really like to get their Horizon DDGS and FREMM FFGs in 1/400 scale to go along with this group.
