Extratech makes a very nice PE set in 1/72 for the 1049.

Let's see, in 1/48, I would love to have a Piper Warrior or other modern Cherokee, a Spartan 7W Executive, and a good Beech 18... the $70 offering from Battle Axe hardly even counts as a kit.

MY dad flew planes of the DC-9 series, until the 717 for 21 years (just got layed off from Midwest a few weeks ago) so I'd like to see some more stuff with a DC-9 and a 717. They've got an MD-80, but it's a pain in the rear to convert it.

I'd love to see a Falcon 20, King Air 200, Lear 31, and maybe a Baron 58, all in 1/48.

For 1/144, an injected  737-200, Convair 240, EMB-120, DHC-8, DHC-7, Beech 1900C, and 717. Most of these are already available in vac and/or resin, but I really don't look forward to beating a Sasquatch Convair 240 into submission.

BTW, Welsh has just released a vac/resin C-46 in 1/144.

All in 1/72

I'd like a DC 4 and DC 7 to go with the Heller DC 6

A new kit of the Beech 18 / C-45

Beech King Air

Beech Baron

Some crop dusters, Air tractor, turbine thrush, Ag cat etc.

That should be a good start.

Well this thread has gotten me thinking of old times. I grew up around the airlines and airliners, TWA to be exact. My dad was in ground crew and later lead man in stores at LAX so I went up to their hangar often. I remember as a kid building smale scale kits of the then current jetliners 707s, 880s, the upcoming 747 and Boeing SST... I would love to see some of those kits again for nostalgias sake. No idea which company made them. I just remember they were in the markings of the big US flagged Airlines of the late 60s early 70s, TWA, Pan Am, American.

In fact, the whole propliner world is basically non-existant at that scale. DC-4,7. Viscount, Electra, Britannia, 440, any one in a new IM kit would make my day!

I'd love to see a nice 1/48 or 1/32 scale Beech 18, or any older Cessna or Piper light aircraft, also in 1/32. 'Love to see a quality Stearman in either of those scales too. (can you say '50's cropduster or airshow version?)

A Sky King Cessna 310 to go along with the Czech Model new release. A 1/48 Gulfstream 1 or any other of the present day types. A Falcon 10 in Coast Guard markings or any other series od the Dassault Falcon. A 1/48 Beech Staggerwing and a whole lot more of the older types.

Hello all, I have been lurking for a while and got excited when I saw the new forum section so I just had to jump in. I thought I would ask what civilian models you would like to see.

For myself I would like to see larger scale single engine airplanes. A Beechcraft Bonanza or ground-loving Cessna in 1/24 scale. It would be nice to make a diorama with your favorite car and light plane together.  I know that many civilian airplanes are available in 1/48 but they are too small for me. Manufacturers are making warbirds in the larger scales so who knows what the future holds.
