Hello!
What do you know - a Maly Modelarz paper model! First one of the Maly Modelarz appeared in Poland in 1956, and they are operating since then. It is this publication that helped turn Poland into a paper model superpower!
Reinforcing the bulkheads is important, but you don't really need basswood - heavy cardboard, not too soft and about 1mm thick would do. The trick is to cut everything out right - you usually can't use scissors in all of the tight corners, that's where you are supposed to use a sharp knife, the one with break-away segments. About 50% of the modellers who build paper models do it using white glue, the one formulated for bookbinders works best. It's the one that dries transparent and is slightly rubbery when dry. CA is also handy for soaking parts in to make them stiff. And a good sanding block is also handy to make the bulkheads fit into the fuselage segments and to make nice, smooth wings. If you need any help, please let me know and for now good luck with your build and have a nice day
