Hatewall.

I am fine with full scratchbuild not sure about the others. I got a few designs in my head that I want to do. Also got most of the materials at home(Wires, rods, metal tubing, springs, etc).

Never really enjoyed scratchbuilding/kitbashing existing designs. Still undecided if i should do 1/35 or 1/24scale(Pilot/Driver I will mod an existing figure).

Question how to you feel about using kit-parts to make masters for parts of the build.

I'm up for it MM, but just not made up designs. There isn't much discipline in that, at least IMO.

Full scratchbuild, no kitbashing and I am in. I think Ground Assault goes until June, so I can squeeze it in.

I would like to attempt this, I have a crazy idea to scratchbuild a Mecha from Front Mission 4 based on the Gust 500 chassis. I am also busy, and may be tied up with retraining into a new career field in the Air Force shortly. Keep me updated on this, as I'm going to get into scratchbuilding eventually.

No start time set as yet, just putting some feelers out.
My plate is also full at the moment, was thinking maybe after the Ground Assult GB.

Which would give people time to get the designs finished and source for materials. Personally I am leaning towards 1/35 or bigger scale myself.

Dany.

Not a problem, yes, I remember the post.

I am thinking this time original concepts/designs, but I think it will be doomed like the other thread was.
Now if I would propose another ST build I guess we would get pleny of responses. Wink [;)]

How about a walker/fighter combination like they had in Lazyner??
Will try to get hold of a pic of the design I got in mind, but think I will have to scan from a reference book.

Actually I posted a simular post a couple of weeks ago, and if I remember well, you were the only one who replied to it.

I sure hope you've got better luck than I had. If you would extend to also flying stuff (spaceships/fighter) I would sure love to participate. But since (as you know) I'm currently working on a walker, I won't be doing another one in some time.

With more and more guys here attempting scratch-building, I was wondering if we could get a scratchbuild GB together.

I kinda like the idea of a 2 or 6/8 legged walker/fighter with either a crew of 1 or 2. Something retro style, should be hardcore looking.

Maybe something along the lines of taking a Apache/Cobra Cockpit or similar, attaching 2 legs and engine and some weapons.
