Sorry about the pics they are not the best.

I took your photos into photoshop and tweaked them and they really look good. That's some fine work. I'm impressed with this build up and am very seriously interested in getting, or making a B-Wing.

thx everyone i had fun building it and again i learned a lot.

I do believe i have the only tangible two seater b-wing out there.  I have search all over the net and have not found one.  There may be one in someones display if so speak up.

The blue grey turned out great. If you mix it evenly with Azure Blue you get the perfect Galactica  MK VII Viper blue!

Thx again.

That Navy Blue Grey is awesome stuff, its not a STRONG blue and it looks completely correct in Lucas's Galactic Sandbox.  This is probably one of the best Bwing builds I have seen!!!!

Hey Ssg.Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]

A really excellent build bro. Your paint job is mint! The only thing i might add is to stick a couple of grain of rice lights in the cockpit to show off all your detail work..

Censored [censored] , dude. That is fine.

The blue bits really do a nice job of brightening up the paint job without being garish. Your models have really convinced me I need to use more blue in my paint schemes.

You're right, the new base does look better. Less organic. Cool [8D]

thx guys

Got some masking and painting done this afternoon thanks to a snow store and my otherwise bored self. I masked with both tamiya tape and some self adhesive friskit film that came with my Iwata HP-C plus kit. THe stuff works great. I used Navy Blue Grey for the color and im really happy as it goes well with the other greys i already used.

Ill let the paint cure for a day or two they hit it with some gloss clear and start the decals and wash the close it all up with a dull coat and do some weathering.. I can see the home stretch now.

I wasn't ranting, just addressing a post and I think if you reread the post you will see that it was I who asked the other member to contact me via PM, so that this thread would remain on track. Also, please note that I have been interested in and supportive of this thread from the beginning and very interested in your work.

BOT Great work, enjoying the updates.

well I opened up the canopy housing piece and placed a small washer in side. With a small magnet attached to the back of the cockpit it worls out really good. All the major pieces have been painted the base colors for the most part.. I have to mask up a scheme and hit it with some Dark sea blue or azure blue for the look i want. The canopy itself is a continuing work in progress. Sanding, priming, filling sanding etc.

Looking at the figs that PeterB is making I will not completely glue up th ecockpit pieces as i would like to get a couple of those nice pilots in this baby.

I totally agree with you, that's why I still find it amazing that so many made such an effort to shut down my lil business. I think one of the big issues here is that it's against the rules to post advertisements of garage kits. I only know that because when I was still attempting to give the community a decent 1/350th Enterprise, at a decent price and made the attempt to show my craft here I was immediately shut down while others persisted. I just want to make sure that no one gets in trouble for the same thing I did. Now that I no longer have a kit coming out and no longer have a business thanks to the efforts of people I don't even know, I can see where it might not be appropo. I was really blind to the whole ting until I had several "copyright" discussions on several different boards. I then realized that no matter how you dress it up, if you don't own the copyright and don't have permission to copy the product then you are essentially stealing. Look what Lucas did to SM, look what happened to some of the other GKers that crossed the line. I really don't want to highjack this thread any further. I sincerely appreciate the authors work and would like to see it continue without further ado, sorry to have brought the subject up. Just want to make sure the playing field is level and no one else gets into trouble. If you wish to discuss it further, please drop me a PM, or e-mail. Thank you.

I'm not, not at all, just curious. i think the work you're doing is fantastic and seriously considering tracking one of these kits down. I've never had a B-Wing of any kind and have always wanted one.

Don't start this stuff with me! You asked a question and I gave you the answer. Do not try to turn this into something its not.  Do I go into your threads and say stupid remarks.  Comment on my work on the kit not your own personnel motives whatever they may be.

This kit is avalible from FAntastic Plastic

Alright here is my cockpit concept work so far. Now understand this is my first time ever doing a major conversion/scratch built parts. Well ihave hte main look down and have started to cut some armor panels to go on the new section.

Also working the insides with the second pilot facing the rear to a back of ECM/Gun equipment back there. Also he has a good field of view to help the pilot identified incoming bodies from different angles.

Constructive criticism is more then welcome as i want this two seater version to work and look good. I think im onto a good start but may need some pointers from so of you experts out there.

Well i got a little done today.  Should be able to finish most of the build this weekend as i have a 4day pass.

Started to open out the vents on the front of the wing using a pin vise and different files. You can see a slight bow in the wing, Ill fix that when i wet sand everything and wash it for painting.

Here is just a shot of the wing.

This is the seam between the engine housing and the engine vents. I smoothed out MR. S 500 and then started to clean it up a little.  Some small detail will be replaced with some styrene later on. Also got the holes drilled and some pins for support measured and cut.  Even the little one that is in it now makes the fit better.

And here it is all pinned together

Still working the Cockpit but i have hit a mind block.

the new pics look good and re giving us a much better appreciation of the work you are putting in.

I lit m Tyderium shuttle.......freakin nightmare.....went about it using Minimag bulbs and a flashlight bulb / reflector setup in the cockpit and engine nacelle.  Won't do that again!

I like the twinned cockpit. Thinking of adding a defensive turret like on the Y wing?

Is this a resin kit, or one of the plastic ones? The surface detail looks pretty good.
