Lighting this kit would be quite difficult, but the thought crossed my mind when I got hold of mine. I'm sure ssgkopp is probably sick of removing resin by now!

Hit the canopy with some primer to show where the bad spots are.  Going good so far.

Also working on my two pilot idea for this build. I have seen one side veiw of a fan made two pilot B-wing so im going to try that.

Looking for a cylinder shape around the house and my daughter yells to me hey will this work? She hands me her stick glue tube thingy and there you have a perfect fit for both pilots and a small magnet.

so here is the in prog pic of that.

any comments would be great.

Better Pics

Not all the guns are glued together so that is why a couple look crooked. Also i love Wave black CA and Mr. Surfacer 500. Im going to prime the canopy later today and see what it needs. I got about another 20 min worth of sanding to do on it and a little work still on the cutout windows.

Great work. This is another one of the kits that I've always wanted but could never find. Looking forward to updates on this.

Your mods look good here, pics are a bit fuzzy. Would love to see more especially of how you work with the cockpit. Are you planning any lighting  mods? also what color scheme you going with?

thanks for posting

David

So far i have replaced the barrels for all the blasters, i have added the open panel on the back edge of the main wing and i have also drill into the wing from the top close to the outer edge. Once I burned through just a little i pulled the drill out and placed a small piece of brass rod in. So once painted it will have the blast damage and show a little metal through it.

I will be replacing the chin guns also and doing some things with the cockpit.

Well here are the pics
