WOW!!!  Beautiful work especially since it was scratchbuilt of paper.  I've been wanting to build a paper model.  I have a card kit of the HMS Dreadnought.  My big question is what glue do you use in your paper to paper adhesion.  I've tried white glue and thick CA and glue stick which was the recommended type with none working.  The white soaks into the paper and ruins the printed on images.  The CA glues everything to everything else and also ruins the printed details and the glue stick (Pritt brand) simply does not stick strong enough.  I'm stumped.  Either I have the wrong glue or the wrong technique.  Can you give me some advice on this?  Obviously you know what you are doing!Big Smile

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Sorry to get back to yo so late Pavlvs. you ask what kind of glue do i use to bond the papercard. Elmer's Glue-All is the stuff i use to bond everything. after the glue has set i use a very thin bead of Zap-Gap medium Ca+ for a even stronger bond. all of my hulls are waterline which makes it easier for me.  also i don't know what i'm doing sometimes. Sara will be finished tomorrow. Yes

raider-hall,your Sara is amazing,i noticed that you built the mighty Ranger CVA-61 in the background,is that a paper model as well or is there a 1/350 plastic kit available? i mostly build tanks and planes but really love the lines of ships. i was an airwing Rangerman during Op Desesrt Shield/ Storm, and would like to have a 3D piece of my history.great job and thanks in advance.

we're modelers it's what we do

Great Looking build. My Dad was on the Sara from 1970 to 1973. If I look real close I think I see some VF-103 A/C. That was his Squadron.  Thanks for sharing.
