Looks beautiful. CV-60 is one of my favorite ships ever. Your scratch-building skills exceed any that I could ever do.Bow Down

 

Your portrayal of her after a long cruise is nice with some weathering is nice, and I am not going to say anything negative, indeed you have a work of art..... except as a matter of personal preference I would have left a little more of the landing strip markings visible towards the forward ends of the waist cats and elevator visible, as the markings here didn't take quite the punishment that the rest of them did in the landing area, along with the starboard elevator outlines too.

Thank You! just wanted to show her how she was back in the day. the whales will be gone because she had none during her Nam cruise. the V-birds well be done next weekend. Also i heard the Navy is gonna cut her up and sold for scrap.

WoW, thanks for the photo. Not just Sarah, but the ESSEX. I served on ESSEX in 60 - 64. That's a great shot!
