wow, this is an excellent build of the big-e!   :D

since I am also going to build this kit in near future,

I am very interested to know how to make your own decal.

can you tell me how?

where do you get the decal paper?

and you only have to print it by ink jet printer?

that's it?

Hi guys.

I'm terrible sorry if I don't answer some posts.

To do this "art" I just search web using google e do a little art using Paint Shop Pro 4.12, a very old version that I still use. You can try it for 30 days. Just search google for it.

VF-214, Blacklions

Still oversized, but is to easy to fix it.

Final art 300 DPI

Nice artwork A.M., one day I will learn how to make my own decals, but I have not tried so far because I am not good with computers. Do you use a special program for your designs? Jockster.

Time to do design airwing decals. I also will use some original decals.

First squadron: 6 x F-14 Aaardvarks

Decals are a little supersized. And some minor details.

Now it is better...

Hi guys, time is very short for me now.

Still missing a few more details, but I decided to start the airwing.

I intend to do twelve Tomcats and Corsairs in two different squadrons and three aircraft of the others in a single squadron. This will keep the proportion of the original airwing eleven. These had already been made by me almost three years ago:

Have you started your airwing yet?

Jorge if you can find it online 2lb test Ice fishing line makes the best rigging material than stretched sprue. Now on the other hand streched sprue does make the best antennas other than piano wire.

A.M.Jorge

Reference for bridge antennas cables and flag cables on the box:

It's not black magic, I'm doing the cables and antennas just stretching sprue:

Now just sew:

On the workbench: Dragon 1/350 scale Ticonderoga class USS BunkerHill 1/720 scale Italeri USS Harry S. Truman 1/72 scale Encore Yak-6

The 71st Tactical Fighter Squadron the only Squadron to get an Air to Air kill and an Air to Ground kill in the same week with only a F-15 http://photobucket.com/albums/v332/Mikeym_us/

I normally prefer a reference book, but I took a chance on buying it, I like the way you can zoom in on areas without a magnifying glass.

You won't be dissapointed Bill, everything from the hangar to the yards, aircraft to anchors whether you are building 60's 70's 80's 90's or her final cruise! It's as if you wrote a list of pictures to take and he went out and took them!
