a test dry fit ,

I need some help please , I want to be able to put a slight bend in this piece of decoration , not sure how to go about it , I don't want to break it , it's brass any suggestions guy's .

had these left over from another build , they are from dafi's PE set . wasn't game to use them before , they are very frail and tiny .

added some new hinges to the rudder , and chain to the it as well . I think the stern section is about done .m I still have to fix that upper balcony though .

started work on the shrouds , here the fore one's are done , decided to use syren thread , as I think for the larger shrouds and stays it look's superior . but of course I don't have enough , so I'm in for another wait .

Hey Steve, again... really nice work. You are on a roll.

Question for you about your process. Are you airbrushing much of the color or hand painting?

Neither here nor there because it looks great. I am just wondering how you go about doing these.

95% of it has been airbrushed mate , a few bits and pieces have been hand done , but that was because I was too lazy to get the airbrush out , I have also done some touch up work here and there , with the brush .

got very lucky , I found some syren thread behind my desk , just enough to do the mizzen mast , now I'm onto the lanteen spar and sail . this is just a dry fit .

silkspan attached to sail making device , { patent pending } glue , water , paint mix applied .

after it has dried

cut to shape

add rope edging

attach to spar

nothing is fixed down yet . have to wait for the main shrouds to go in .

made a parrel for the lanteen spar , not really sure if it's suppost to go on or not , but I thought they looked cool .
