Sweet work, Steve!
cheers steve .
started work on the shrouds , here the fore one's are done , decided to use syren thread , as I think for the larger shrouds and stays it look's superior . but of course I don't have enough , so I'm in for another wait .
Thats looking great. You are doing good. Like all the results.
Hey Steve, again... really nice work. You are on a roll.
Question for you about your process. Are you airbrushing much of the color or hand painting?
Neither here nor there because it looks great. I am just wondering how you go about doing these.
thanks steve ,
95% of it has been airbrushed mate , a few bits and pieces have been hand done , but that was because I was too lazy to get the airbrush out , I have also done some touch up work here and there , with the brush .

Thanks for advising. Keep up the good work, Mate!
will do mate .
got the stays for the foremast and bowspit attached .
That is some super work you are doing on the Shrouds and the standard Rigging. I love it.....Cheers Mark
thanks for that mark .
the fore platform is on .
Spectacular Work !!
thanks fuzznoggin , I know the railing was never like this , but I just couldn't help myself .
while I'm waiting for deadeyes and thread to arrive , installed the bowspit yard .
got very lucky , I found some syren thread behind my desk , just enough to do the mizzen mast , now I'm onto the lanteen spar and sail . this is just a dry fit .
silkspan attached to sail making device , { patent pending } glue , water , paint mix applied .
after it has dried
cut to shape
add rope edging
attach to spar
nothing is fixed down yet . have to wait for the main shrouds to go in .
made a parrel for the lanteen spar , not really sure if it's suppost to go on or not , but I thought they looked cool .
