I had been stuck on MM acrylics, but to be honest, I like the Tamiya acrylics better...though you have to work fast with them or use a retarder.  That last shot looks too red, it is done in olive drab and field drab, just like the Danish fast attack boats of the late 40's.

Glued the boat onto the base prior to adding all the little doo-hickies...since those love to break off!

I'm using tissue paper soaked in a mixture of white glue and future floor polish...hey, it might work.

Looking very interesting! I particularly like the colour scheme, certainly makes a change from Schnellbootweiss...

Is the "88" going to have a shield?

I don't know...with the Danish navy being involved in the cold war as a sub hunting unit, etc, I am not sure if they would have used a shield or not. What do you all think?

The water is coming along well, but sloooooooooow !

Looking very good! The splash effect on the water is very effective. I didn't realise you were building it as a hydrofoil - thought the foils were just stabilisers for the additional weight of the 88mm gun mount.

I thought this was a "Kriegsmarine 46" design?

Well, the ship is done...but I am super pissed...the molding silicone I ordered two weeks ago still hasn't shown up (our computers are down sir, we can't track your order)...so no depth charges or life rafts on yet. Sigh. Thank heaven's we extended the deadline!
