Rob, the Lens Supply Bottle looks great... Keep em coming.
So glad Bakster asked and you elaborated, Lancair. The raft is brilliant. I was very curious as well. Foil. Who woulda thunk.
Thanks for sharing indeed.
Finished the Lens Seal Supply Bottle. I'll add the line tomorrow
Rob, thanks for sharing all that! Reading the details of how you achieved this makes your outcome even more impressive. It is incredible work. I can't say that enough. Do you put this much detail into most of your builds? This is a project on steroids! Are you juicing? Lol. Just kidding of course.
Thanks again for sharing your work. I am really enjoying your work in progress.
Bakster Rob, as usual, it looks fantastic. Tell us about the survival pack. Did you make that from scratch? If so, what did you make it out of? How did you do the printing?

Thanks again Bakster. The survival pack started with a block of 1/4" balsa cut to size, then I wraped it with aluminum foil slightly wrinkled. The Flash Light and Knife compartments on the bottom were pieces of styrene cut to size and glued on, then covered with aluminum foil. The flaps are made with aluminum foil foled over a few times to achive a seam then glued in place. The buttons and snaps were punched out of .01 thick styrene glued in place, and the lower zipper is made of styrene strip. The entire Survival Kit was primed with Tamiya Primer, then painted with Testors Acryl Olive Drab. The water valve is made out of .030 rod twisted around a drill then placed into the opening at the top. The decals were printed on my printer on clear decal film, sealed, then applied. I top coated with Flat clear. Lastly, I dry brushed the entire kit with pastels to bring out the details.
Thanks again Bakster.

Rob, it looks great. Let me know when you launch. I live across the big lake from you. I will send a ship out for reentry.
Corrected the Abort Handle. It was set up to move rearward. It is now set up to move outboard to start the abort process
Thanks Steve.
I did a trial fit tonight before I made anymore progress. So far, so good.
Rob...I hate to be always chiming in but...that looks awesome! I can't help but cheer you on! The level of detail that you are putting into this build is astounding. I am certain that this ship is going to fly when you are done.
Great job.
