Welcome aboard, lots of 48th aircraft builders on here (despite best efforts to spread the word of the one true scale )
Dive in and enjoy and be sure to post some pics of your builds.

Welcome aboard Mij. If 48th scale is your game then there's plenty of that going on here. Looking forward to seeing your builds, Joe

welcome to the forums
Welcome aboard Mij! Glad to have you on the forums! 1/48 is a great scale to work in...despite Prof. Bish's efforts to promote his true love...1/72! No matter the scale, there are some awesome folks here on the forums, more than willing to help and pass on advice and tricks and tips!
Working for NASA! That was a dream of mine (too old to dream about it anymore) for MANY years! Bet you have some great pics you could post!
Again, welcome to the forums!

Welcome to the Forums Mij! Glad to have you aboard!
If you want to post pics of planes WIPs, post in the Aircraft section, autos in the Auto section, etc. Looking forward to seeing your pics.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
Thanks Eagle and everyone for the welcomes. Between NASA, Edwards, and AF Plant 42 there is quite a bit of stuff to photograph (at least in the museum areas where security police dont mind someone taking pictures). I can make a list if anyone is interested. Granted aircraft on display will not always look the same as they did on the flight line.
If anyone wants the list I'll post it in the aircraft section where more folks will see it. If it turns out anyone wants some walk around photos I'll plan a field trip with camera in hand. There is a Antelope Valley IPMS chapter that may have already done this for all I know.
Welcome aboard Mij.
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Mustang, we have to get in their early to counter you heretics.
Mij, any photo's you can get would be very welcome I am sure. Feel free to give us a list of what they have. I started working at RAF Lakenheath a month ago and would love to get some pics of the F-15's (if for no other reason than to make Eagle drool ) but I certainly ain't risking it.
I'm going to reiterate what others have said....you got pics, we want to see them! You have a great opportunity there and for modelers (and aviation/space enthusiasts alike), you pics are priceless! Thank you for being willing to do so!
Some of the best rail watching on the west coast is there where you live in Tehachapi! One really can see both ends of the trains...... Welcome
Tehachapi is popular with the railroad enthusiasts. My LHS is more centered around trains than aircraft with is my preference. Luckily many of the basic tools and consumables are transferable.
