Tehachapi is popular with the railroad enthusiasts. My LHS is more centered around trains than aircraft with is my preference. Luckily many of the basic tools and consumables are transferable.
Some of the best rail watching on the west coast is there where you live in Tehachapi! One really can see both ends of the trains...... Welcome
I'm going to reiterate what others have said....you got pics, we want to see them! You have a great opportunity there and for modelers (and aviation/space enthusiasts alike), you pics are priceless! Thank you for being willing to do so!

Mij, any photo's you can get would be very welcome I am sure. Feel free to give us a list of what they have. I started working at RAF Lakenheath a month ago and would love to get some pics of the F-15's (if for no other reason than to make Eagle drool ) but I certainly ain't risking it.

Thanks Eagle and everyone for the welcomes. Between NASA, Edwards, and AF Plant 42 there is quite a bit of stuff to photograph (at least in the museum areas where security police dont mind someone taking pictures). I can make a list if anyone is interested. Granted aircraft on display will not always look the same as they did on the flight line.
If anyone wants the list I'll post it in the aircraft section where more folks will see it. If it turns out anyone wants some walk around photos I'll plan a field trip with camera in hand. There is a Antelope Valley IPMS chapter that may have already done this for all I know.
