lots of talk about new kits and rehashed old ones going around right now, but of course they are ignoring the masses as usual! So here's my list of what I think I'd like to see somebody work on.
Aircraft
1. 1/48th Ventura/Hudson that will come in for less than forty dollars
2. somebody's got to finally bite the bullet and give us an accurate Spitfire in 1/48th (one company does the fuselage right while others get the wings right!)
3. A B26K in 1/48th! Now this ones easy!
4. Bring back a good quality A6 Intruder in 1/48th that has the wing folds
5. Anybody besides me would like to see another run of T-28's in 1/48th?
6. AT-6 Texans in a high tech form scaled for 1/48th
7. How about doing a good quality A37 in full combat form? (1/48th and 1/32?)
8. Banashee! Anybody wanta build a Korean War version besides me in 1/48th?
9. a good quality OV-10 in 1/48th
10. a good quality Kingfisher that has all the errors fixed
Armor (1/35th scale)
1. a correct 155mm howitzer from the Korean and Vietnam eras
2. a better M48a3 than what we have right now
3. a British Valentine tank
4. a good M3 scout car
5. a newly retooled 6 pounder!
6. Ontos; I know they're promising us one
7. M56 Scorpion
8. a new M88
9. somebody needs to come back out with the M107 and M110 series again
10. an accurate M42 with the parts to mount the 20mm Vulcan on it
Naval
1. a newly retooled four stacker destroyer in 1/144 or better yet 1/72!
2. an escort carrier
3. battleship Maine in 1/350 or even 1/144th scale
4. a Type VIID U-Boat in 1/72nd scale
5. a Flower Class Corvette in 1/72nd scale
6. a Minesweeper in 1/72nd scale
7. a 1/144th scale destroyer escort!!
8. a 1/350th scale cruiser Perth
9. a 1/350 scale Langley
10. some British cruisers (Ajax for one) in 1/350th scale
Automobiles
1. a 1927 Ford roadster in both 1/24th and 1/16th (or better yet 1/12th)
2. a series of Indy roadsters (all the way from the 1920's till now)
3. a 1968 Hemi Dart and a 1968 Hemi Cuda that is correct
4. a 1964 hemi Plymouth that has the correct wheel locations
5. 1953 Studebaker
6. 1953 Studebaker pickup truck
7. a 1951 Hudson Hornet
8. a 1960 and a 1961 Chrysler 300F and a 300G
9. a 1962 Chevy Belair two door hardtop
10. a 1961 Ford Starliner
not asking for much I know, but still would make my day!
