Ok gang I've got some pics I think are worth sharing so you guys know I'm still building an aircraft. lol . I decided to do before and after photos because just looking at it the cockpit at first doesn't really look like I've mad a lot of progress. There are a few items more however and yes....................it's been tedious.

 I've been throwing a lot of time and energy at the Chevy as of late just trying to get it finished.

You know how it is when you want something finished and it just won't cooperate? That's what's happening with the Chevy Sedan Delivery I'm building. It's one thing after another but I'm getting through it. I had an opportunity while paint was drying on that to switch back over to the Arado this morning. Pilots seat is done and installed. I'll be working on the back wall where the battery and other details are and working my way forward after I take care of the nose gear bay on the bottom side of this whole assembly. Here's the progress as of this morning though: ( The seat belts are actually dirtier than they look in the picture-here they look practically brand new....wow)

Whoa, whoa...I said WHOA. How did I miss the start of this? Going to be an insane build. I've seen what you can do with a few aftermarket resin pieces.  Now you have my attention.

It's all lookin' muy primo compadre. Good stuff for sure.

 I just keep pressing ahead and take small breaks from the Chevy and work on the Arado. The seat and seat belts have taken me longer than I have wanted but I've got it to a point that I think I can show some progress now. I have to pick out some aluminum details on the seat belts with a toothpick but here's a pick just to show some progress anyways. I still have the armrests to go on this bad boy so I aint finished with the construction of the seat yet.

Thanks for the good word folks. I'm throwing alot at my '54 Chevy Panel Wagon right now because it's looking like it may wrap up fairly quickly if I keep my focus on it (providing that the hood will cooperate with the painting that is!). I'm currently painting the seat belts and seats for this one here though. Hope to post some progress pics soon.

Looks like a good start buddy.  Throwing a lot of am at this beast.  Gonna look very nice in the end.

Really fantastic effects you achieved Joe. They are very effective at making your cockpit apperar realistic and eye catching. Definitely some very fine work.

Love the wiring! The way you painted it looks natural with that touch of chromatic lighting technique thrown in there for sun fading. This is really, really looking good, Mustang.

'Preciate that Andy and Nathan. I've got the OOB seat glued together and will form the seat belts to that, paint them and install them on the resin seat next.

Looks really good mustang! I like the idea of adding a drop of gray to the clear to give a sun faded look. I'll have to give that a try.

Looks like the real thing.

I managed to shoot a base coat of RLM 66 emamel last night before going to bed. I woke this morning and hit the bench at about 3:45 a.m. and started by hitting the highlights with a little acrylic RLM 66 with a drop of white in it on the high points. I set that aside to dry and then hit it with a coat of Tamiya Clear and allowed that to dry. I followed that up with a wash of MIG Productions dark wash lightened some so as not to be overbearing with it. After that dried under a lamp for a while I brought out all the details and dry brushed some silver over the corners and over some of the more frequently used controls through out the side consoles. I then went over everything with a coat of MM flat clear with a drop of grey in it to give the sun faded look. I still have to install the instruments at the R/H front console and at the upright panel at the front of the L/H console and then it'll be down to the PE details, resin pieces like the control yoke and seat with belts and then the main instrument panel. There's alot more stuff I didn't mention but the list is just too dang long. You get the picture though(no pun intended).

Thank you Bish, Toshi, Max , Ernie and Joe . No real progress on this one today but did some more research. I'll be busting out the MM RLM 66 enamel for the base color this weekend.
