My B-29 got published in FSM magazine

Looks very nice, I will be using this as a referance when I build my 1/48 B-29.

Glad to help. I suggest that you use a 1/48 MIG 15, 17 or 19 as your first foiled airplane. The shape of the fuselage is straightforward  (no complex 3-D curves) and the wings are simple shapes.

The trick is to overlap each new foil over the edge of the previous foil. Then trim along the joint. You should end up with a tight butt joint. I noticed that article and I thought it looked cool. I wondered how you are able to keep the seams from showing, still a mystery to me.

Yes Johnny, I was happy to see that you got published.  I wish they would have printed more of your steps on actually applying the BMF.  You gave some excellent tips in regards to prepping the surface, laying out the foil, and how to treat areas that were painted.
