At this time she will set on the biggest shelf I have. I did think about hanging her from ceiling though.

MKelly - You did a Stellar job on your PBY. I really like the way the color combo turned out. Looks like you really got the upper hand in the battle. Approve [^] Thumbs Up [tup] Thumbs Up [tup] That is one big kit. Are you going to hang it from the ceiling ? Thanks for posting.

I had forgotten all about my 1/72 pby tucked back waiting for paint.

Bondoman,

This is one GB that I have really enjoyed. The thread was blast to read and the PBYs were amazing. I had a heck of time getting this one done. Now I am off to look for the drink wench and get through my son's wedding this weekend. I have a feeling that I will look a little like the second picture by Sunday morning. Let me be the first to raise a glass of torpedo juice and salute everyone who participated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man I love this hobby Dunce [D)]

Here she is in all her multi-color glory. This one fought me from the beginning to the end. As I was telling my son today she is a 3 footer. That is she looks good from 3 feet. I have to watch the main landing gear, I had to put so much weight in her to get her to stand up the gear want to collaspe on me. I have glued it twice today. One thing more I did not realize how big a PBY is!   So enjoy.

Well done sir. The paint is spot on, and with a week to spare no less.

I haven't forgotten this GB. Mine is ready for paint so I should be able to make the deadline. I still plan on doing a desert Operation Torch scheme. Here are some progress pics:

Bring her in. I took the opp to look back up the trhead since you bumped it. This was one of the best and late finishers make it even better.

So where is Nam? There's a rumor he's living in Bali Hai.

I have the red, yellow and white on the PBY. I have to get the blue gray finished and all the details finished up and I will be ready to decal the beast. I think I will be able to finish before the deadline!

Welcome back Nam, it's great to hear you're on the mend and we have missed you. It's been tough keeping NCO's from looting all your Torp juice in your absence!
