MKelly - You did a Stellar job on your PBY. I really like the way the color combo turned out. Looks like you really got the upper hand in the battle. That is one big kit. Are you going to hang it from the ceiling ? Thanks for posting.
I had forgotten all about my 1/72 pby tucked back waiting for paint.

Now I am off to look for the drink wench and get through my son's wedding this weekend. I have a feeling that I will look a little like the second picture by Sunday morning. Let me be the first to raise a glass of torpedo juice and salute everyone who participated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man I love this hobby

I have to watch the main landing gear, I had to put so much weight in her to get her to stand up the gear want to collaspe on me. I have glued it twice today. One thing more I did not realize how big a PBY is! So enjoy.

Here she is. I need to add a few bits and the decals. I think I am going to make it.
I haven't forgotten this GB. Mine is ready for paint so I should be able to make the deadline. I still plan on doing a desert Operation Torch scheme. Here are some progress pics:
Bring her in. I took the opp to look back up the trhead since you bumped it. This was one of the best and late finishers make it even better.
So where is Nam? There's a rumor he's living in Bali Hai.

I have one but have been afraid to look at it. Nam I still owe you another and haven't forgotten! Anyone have a Black Cat or Bismark hunter in progress?

I'm building a Bismark hunter in 1/72. Not much progress has been made on it though.
Buddy- Those who say there are no stupid questions have never worked in customer service.
Yeah it's 1/72 in all its 52" glory.
Eric...
Heres a link to a few pix.
I cut out the front torpedo tubes the other day to convert them to a later style.
Guess I should pop in here as well.
Still working on the planes slowly, been distracted by starting my huge Gato Sub I've had sitting here the last 2 years.

Thanks and let the 'C' word be a lesson. Don't be afraid to see your doctor! I'm not here to preach..............just............be safe.
Hell! I'm sounding like a leader again! I'll try and pick up my slack!
Thanks Mike!
