So it shall be a B-17, a checkered Jug and a Sabre!

I just need to find a nice pic of a B-17 now!

SchattenSpartan

I've almost decided on the pictures for the badges. What do you think, guys?

Badge 1:

I might replace this one with a F-100, Mig-15 or B-17 "Put a B-17 here"

Badge 2:

I vote for this one The Hun Hunter's a great plane, but my feeling is you see it all the time. at least I do.

Badge 3:

Cheers, Clemens

These are my votes. And they are just votes.

In case you haven't noticed, I'm partial to ww2 planesGeeked

Nice to have you in as well, Tony!

I just wanted to say that I wasn't able to talk to Randy about this, but I think he wont have any problems with me hosting the next round (he even asked for someone to do it). I sent him a PM explaining everything though.

Ánother thing to mention is That this is only a feeler for the actual GB, but as it looks right now there are enough people interested! I'll post the real one tomorrow...

That with the self-made badges is an awesome idea, but I want something different for the NMF Group Build. Randy (the former host) had an interesting approach on the badges and I want to continue with that. There were 2 pre-made badges (I'll make 3) you could grab as soon as you joined it. As soon as your model was finished he made a custom badge for you with a picture of your finished project and the GB title on it! I fact, I want to keep most of the traditions inside this GB series as they are but vary it a little bit (I think there should be some differences with a different host)

If you find some nice pics for the badges, just post them here! There is time for me o make them untill June 1st.

Cheers, Clemens

Can you get 1 each ww2, korea, and vietnam war planes on the badge? but if you do that it would leave out everything since.

Here's a suggestion. in the Hooray for Hollywood GB I'm hosting, I'm letting everyone design their own badge. I am using a still from the Dirty Dozen with Lee Marvin and the others in the halftrack for my badge

A mig would be nice! I have found a metric sh*tton of images (sorry for the bad language) for the badges already... I would say a B-17, a Sabre/Mig and a P-47/P-51 should do the job?

Let me know what planes you want on the badges...

Pencil me in. Not sure what I will build yet. I would like to do one just for this GB rather than a cross over if I can, all depends on how my other builds go. Might be time for another MiG.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3

SchattenSpartan

Welcome to this follow up of the NMF GB series, Ken! Your subject sounds awesome! I love the Jug (something new, eh?) and that Tamiya kit is awesome as well! I'll build a Thunderbolt as well (Hasegawa 1/32)

Cheers, Clemens

The plans are for a diorama of a USAAF base in England June 5th, 1944. The pilot of the Jug has a hometown friend who flys a P 38 who has just flown in to visit. Please don't put all that down, Just the jug. I know, I dream big so I don't know how long that will take to build Big Smile

I'll be the first to sign on Clemens. I'm doing Tamiya's 1/48 P 47 Bubble top Jug NMF with invasion stripes for The Longest Day GB so i'll do a crossover with that
