Yeah, tough restrictions, eh, Theuns?? 

Here is my entry, a 1/48 Italeri Impala Mk2 (SA built Aermachi MB 326k)  used very extensively by the South African Air Force during the ANgolan Bush war for close ground support and COIN ops.

Ity will basically be out the box except for replacing the incorrect kit decals ansd using a rezin bangseat.

It will be hard to "take shortcuts" with this build as quite a few of my fellow IPMS mates actually flew these and at the place we meet there is a full size one of there no more than 30m away! LOL

Hey Matt, can I get in with this Bad Boy?? Got a few GBs on the go, and may not get to this until Jan or so, but, I'd like in.

I've managed to save the A-10 (changing camos though)

I think I have the time so i'd like to throw my hat in the ring here with the 1/48 Hasegawa Ju 87 G2 tank hunter.

Put me down for a 1/72 Hasegawa He111 P/H for a second build. I'll start on it as soon as I'm finished with the Chi Ha, F100D, F104C and Me 262.

At some point I'll get back to my Arizona.

Here's my finished Mi-24 Hind.

I'm not completely happy about the finish. I used Acrylic for the color coat which made it very dull. I then sprayed gloss lacquer so I could lay down a black wash. This did not go as well as planed, the wash was too thin and just beaded off. I then thickened the wash and applied, but then I couldn't get enough of the excess off to be happy with. So in frustration I decided this will be a very dirty Hind (I've seen pictures, there are some). So I then lightly sprayed some exhaust streaks, and sprayed a dull coat to knock down the gloss.

I didn't like my method, does anyone have a better one?

I've ordered a canopy for the Hun from Squadron last night. So I will be building a F104C and F100D. COOL!

More progress on my A-10. My F4U-4 is about 99.99% done so the final pics will be up VERY soon. I just have a few touch ups I have to do.

Way to go 68GT! I can't wait to see it!
