Nice work guys!

Bobby, personally I think the weathering and grime look pretty darn good.

Thank you sir!  I'm working on the figures now.  Something else I haven't done much with.  That and I'm getting all teh bits and pieces for inside the halftrack....rifles, radios, canteens..they actually have a bunch of combat knives!  Man are the small!  LOL!

Nothing major to report...just wanted to post a pic of the "massing of the troops!"  LOL!  I have not done much figure work before this, but boy is this kit giving me the opportunity to do some!  LOL!

Bobby

SurpriseEmbarrassed Just noticed a headless soldier....sorry.  Where is his head?  Huh?

Nice work there Bobby, I think it's simpler to just do all the figures at once too.

If you can't find the guys head maybe scratchbuild him a small Jack O' Lantern to replace it? Propeller

Bobby,

Great job on the figures! Looking forward to seeing how you finish painting them!

I haven't pulled my halftrack out yet, I want to finish my Type 4 for the 1946 GB, then dig into this one. I'm not entering any more GB, until I finish all the GB's I've entered. Unfortunately, that will include your RAF GB in April, Bish.

Have a few more progress pics for you.  Started on the crew and added the machine guns.  Never really done figures before so this is a challenge for me.  Hope they turn out alright. Hoping to be close to finishing today, so be on the look out for more pics tonight.  Thanks for looking.

Didn't get a chance to finish it up tonight.  I got the driver in and the decals on.  Still need to do a couple of more coats of MicroSal and finish up the rest of the troops.  Embarrassed  Maybe tomorrow.

Thank you John.  It is a really nice kit!  Lots of extras with it that I just can't find room for!  LOL!  Gernades, knives, the rifles I put in the racks, canteens, cargo, helmets.  There was a lot of extras!

Thank you sir.  Been a fun kit for sure!  I thought the decal for the front grill was going to be a pain, but it went on like a charm.  Lots of MicroSol to get the decals to lay down, especially on the hood!

My turn. I completed the 251 but I'm not going to add the figures, I have so much more to work on.

So here ya go. Thank you Bish for hosting this group build. It has probably been 30 years since I last build this kit and it didn't come out anythig like this.

Enjoy

Steve

Man, there is some really good work here!  You guys are putting me to shame with your builds.  Awesome!

Well, I'm calling it finished!  I tried to arrange the men the way Tamiya called them out, but it just didn't work.  So I arranged them the best I could.  Hard to see all the details with taking pics with my phone.  There is a radio in the back(it's next to the soldier with the radio phone), the dashboard was really nice, all the rifles in the holders looks cool too.  I didn't go over board with the weathering (which I've done a few times since starting to do armor) Embarrassed.  The antenna is a guitar string, and it is really hard to see, but I loaded almost each soldier with 2 grenades!!  That was fun!  One has a .45 sidearm, but he is sitting and it's hard to see.  So here she is.  The Tamiya kit went together very well and it was a fun kit to do.  It has very nicely detailed and has LOTS of soldiers!  Enjoy.

Bish...again, smashing GB!  Always a joy and loads of fun doing your GB's!

Bobby she turned out really well! And I know what you mean, sometimes you just have to fiddle with figures to get them to fit properly.

Thank you sir!  Yeah, there was so many figures with the kit!  There is one not in the pics.  It's a soldier walking!  I have him on the shelf with it now.  I think there were 9 total!  Pretty good deal for figures!

Thank you sir!  No doubt.  Look at the pics with just the halftrack and it's blah.  Throw the figures in it and it pops!  :)
