Excellent work, Bish.  That's a very interesting camo scheme on the Panzer.  Quite effective.  And the ruins are looking very good.  It'll be quite compelling to watch all this come together.

Thanks Dwayne. Got quite a bit more to do to the building, but at least i don't have to worry about all the finery such as carpets, wallpaper and so on as i did on the E-100.

These tracks are actually easier than they look. Far easier than 251 tracks.

Hey Bish, that building looks fantastic.  Those tracks do not look like fun at all, but the Panzer II is looking great too.

MC, your zero is looking good.  I am building an old Fujimi A6M2 kit for the Midway GB.  First time scratchbuilding detail in a pit, so it is taking forever.  Takes more time to figure out how I am going to do something than it takes to do the something.

Short update on the Pz II as i just finihsed off the construction and have been working on the building as well.

The tank got its coat of primer followed by the pz Grey and then some Dark yellow. Had a bit of an issue with the grey as it came up very flat rather than the gloss it should have been, so shot a coat of Alclad Aqua gloss to apply the decals. No great problem as its one less coat i will ahve to add before weathering.

The building got a coat oftan for the mortar followed by a flat brush for the brickwork useing tamiya red brown. Still got some touching up to do on that and then add some colour variation.

I did make a start on the tracks but soon realised this would not be a good idea. I thought they would be the click together type, but there not, and i will need to get the road wheels dry fited so i get get the right shape around the sprockets, idlers and the raised road wheels, so just a small section got done. But pretty easy to put together for such small links.

Thats all for now. Going to get the decals on, but will then focus on the building, figures and getting those tracks built.

I put the wings and tail on the Zeek. The gaps are larger than the Hasegawa kit but aren’t too bad.

Hi Dan, very good work on the panzer support vehicle. 

Really like the dusting/weathering you achieved, just enough for the desert enviroment, but not overpowering to flatten the details.

Well I'm calling my Panzer III Ausf. N done. This is a great kit from Dragon, with a part count in 600 to 700 range it might not be for everybody. Only disappoint is I didn't remove all the film from the decals. 

Next up is my 1/144 Junkers Ju 52/3M & 1/32 Junkers Ju 88 Stuka.

Nice subject LA, not sure i have seen a Marder in 48th.

Dwayne, theres some good Marder kits out there, but can't go wrong with a Tamiya.

Yup, that worked.  I can see both pics.  I also tried using the "copy image location" and pasting it into the image link box.  That worked....and then it didn't.  Have no idea why. The email myself the link has always worked.  An extra step, and kind of annoying, but it works, and it's free.

That is a very interesting subject.  I like the look of the Marders.  I still picture an armor developer saying "Well, we got this chassis.  Oh look, we got that gun.  I can do this."

Thanks LA. I think the problem for Dragon is that this has a leaft spring suspension. There would only be 2 ways that i can think off to make it adjustable. One would be to privide 2 sets of spings, one normal and one under tension, to be able to pose it differently. The other would be to provide real springs. Its a lot easier for types like the Panther and tiger with torsion bars to be able to fit moving suspension.

In the meantime catching up with the great builds although Steve's Hurricane seems to be sticking out the bottom lip a bit!

Dwayne, got a classic kit out there! I (and sure many of us) have made it. In my case it was a few decades back and it has met a grisly end somewhere, somehow.

Bish, lots of detail in the PzkfwII, although it seems odd to me that Dragon would go to all that trouble with the suspension so it can't be posed.  The PE is coming together very well, what do you use to guide the folds?

I am just about reading to get this down to the spray booth and start painting. Finished off all the PE i was going to add and got the two halves of the hull together. I used some beading wire for the armoured cable for the lights.

I am leaving the exhaust off the rear and will paint that seperatly and add later.

I have left the turret is several sections. I'll paint the inside as wel as the gun and other fitings, then finish putting it together and doing the outside. I do like the Lion Marc barrel, very nicley detailed.

Once i start getting the paint on, i can start on the tracks. that will be fun.

Looks like it just rolled in from the desert, Dan.  Great work!

Modelcrazy: Nice work on the cockpit and interior. Sorry to hear about that bad fitting wing section.

The other day airbrushed on X20 Clear, then let that set over night and applied the six decals. They went on nice and easy. After I seal them in I plan to give the tank a good dusting of XF57 Buff.
