I can't say much without it being revealed who my giftee is, but I received a text that said the present was processed through a facility in the "great white north" and is on it's way to it's destination.  Whistling

Thank you Buddy, I'm sorry I won't be able to see you until next year. Like Chad said, not much cept just talkin bout kits, and I was both happy and sad one I wanted to get wasn't there.

Chad, I still can't login with my phone without going to incognito mode. I even erased my cache.

You didn’t miss much Buddy. Steve and I hung out in front of the kits the whole time wishing we could take most of them home!

I am really looking forward to opening my Secret Santa gift too! I’ll probably crack it open Christmas night and start cutting sprue.

Well, I got my SS gift last week during the not being able to sign in debacle. Thanks to a heads up from Brandon, it sits unopened. I have received the gift for my recipient and will endeavor to have wrapped and ready for shipping by Monday at the latest.

Steve,

Since I wasn't able to make it to Plano today, have a safe trip and see you in the new year.

Buddy- Those who say there are no stupid questions have never worked in customer service.

Only 11 days to the unveiling....keep looking at the sealed mailing box by my desk, wondering what's hiding inside and what I got myself into...going to be great no matter what is there.  Hope I can do Santa proud.

Here is the funny part....still haven't figured out what to get m'lady yet.   Modelers are easy to shop for.

BTW, with the latest FSM SMAFU I can post for those who can't. Just find my public email in my bio and send me what you want to post and I'll take care of it.

About 16"wingspan.  The 1/72's are around 33", so thinking a 1/48 would be around 44-46".  Have the old AMT 1/72 "G" in the stash, along with the 1/72 KC-135 to do as a hanging refueling display.

Thank you.  After 2 years I'm happy with her.  Not touching anything else until this years SS build is done.

Very nice. That certainly looks like a manageable size. I can't imagine what this would be like in 1/48. YIKES!! Well done, Sir.

As promised, the procrasticating elf finally got off his tail and finished the prior SSGB gift.  I really must apologize to my Santa...Ran into paint issues of my own making and got disgusted with myself and it found it's way to the shelf of doom.

I vowed to get it down and finish before Christmas and opening this years gift.

This is the Minicraft 1/144 B-52H, done as a "what if", if the "H's" had gone to Vietnam back in the day.

Hopefull this will spur all of us to get our gifts done in a timely manner, I know this year I'll be working on my gift straight through until finished

I'm super happy about that, both for you and your giftee. A lost package is a PIA.

I hear ya.  Nothing worse then not having the gift under the tree for Christmas morning!  LOL!

I knew as soon as I started posting about it, it would start to work out.  LOL!

Getting text updates now......it flew out of Miami yesterday!  So I'm confident they will get it before Christmas.  Big Smile

The good news Bobby is that if it's lost, you should be able to claim insurance. I believe there's a substacial base insurance for packages.

I have several gifts being sent to my home in Boise and one box of three items were sent from Bets Buy and the same thing happend. Best Buy replaced the shipment and that one has arrived.

I'm hoping it's the usual PO not updating their site, but you never know.  Forgot today is Sunday.  Don't think the UPS store is open today.  Will check tomorrow if the site doesn't update tonight.

Well I thought I was doing the right thing by sending my gift from the UPS store...tracking number and all...but the bloody thing just says the shipping label has been printed.  I shipped it about a week ago!  I'm hoping to go by the store today and find out what is going on.  Hopefully the person I sent it to will just post they received it and the PO was just....well, the PO.  LOL!

My wife sent me two pictures of a USPS package today. One picture had the word Santa which looked like it was on the corner of the box. She's putting it under the tree for me.

I also received word that the another package to somebody was delivered, again, I don't know why I keep getting these mysterious emails. Huh?

I hope everyone receives something that is both unexpected and most enjoyable.

It rattles around like there’s plastic pieces inside or something lol

Huhh, that's intresting. Maybe something's broken. Confused

I reread my last post and it was confusing. I meant that I received a notice that the gift that Santa sent YOU, had arrived. I couldn't understand why I was receiving such a notification. Wink

Will keep an eye out for it.  Mine shipped from vendor so don't know if wrapped or not.  Probably not.

The procasticating elf almost has the last one done.  A couple of more decals and dull coat.  I'll make it with time to spare.  Just hoping my prior Santa isn't too disappointed in me for taking this long.  Will post up a pic when finally done, maybe it will spur on our current folks to be eager beavers

To my Secret Santa; I'm having my wife check the door every day, but there is so many things coming in that she may missread the one from you and just put it in the hobby room and not know. I quiz her every night and hopefully she'll be able to tell. If not I'll be home on Christmas eve and look through what we received. I will have a lot of wrapping to do when I get there.
