Great work, Nick. Looks even better out in the (tropical?) sunshine!
Can you please pick a pic for the finish photo? They're all really good.
I don't have plans for another GB in the near future; thought I'd take part in someone else's for a while. . .if I can ever finish the '44 and '45 ones going on!

CM. many thanks agaain.
This is a RAF P-47D-25 .GQB of the 134 squadron Burma Dec 1945.
Painted with AK RAF camo set ak 2010. The clears I used are by tamiya, XTradecal sheet X48-115. weathering was done with masters touch oil paint and chalks.
again thanks all of you for watching and your comments. CM whats next post war aircraft?
Nick.
Very, very nice, Nick I like the panel lines and subtle weathering you achieved. Eye-catching!
I'll look forward to the outdoor photos!
CM .Many thanks the P-47 is pretty much done. I took some out door pics to follow.
postimage was down for mantiance..
tempestjohnny. the corsair is looking good!
Looks very good to me, tj. Wiring is nicely done on the engine, and the decals are very effective on the IP.
I added wiring. Definitely not as good as Lawdog
IP with just kit decals
That is one sharp looking Thunderbolt, Nick. The camouflage and markings make it a beautiful build.
stikpusher checkmateking02 Well, then, stik, welcome to the retirement world. I started 1 Nov 2019. Thank you. My last official day on the job is tomorrow, and I have an appointment to go in at the end of the week to turn in my badges & ID and pick up my retired credentials.

People tell me they're busier in retirement than when they worked.
Thanks fellas. I gave a light coat of tamiya clear flat and test fit wind shield, flaps and cowling.

Yes and no... I worked my last day of regular employment March 3rd. But retirement does not officially start until March 25th for me. However, any planned activities have been curtailed due to the virus. So I can do things around the house, work on models, and walk the surrounding open areas...
stikpusher Sign me up for this one too. Subject choice undecided for now... I have nothing but time and models on my hands from now on...

Welcome to the GB, stik. Always glad to have your participation. I'll be updating the roster immediately.
Are the "time and models on [your] hands" because of the virus?
Done, Steve.
Thanks for participating in the GB. Always a pleasure to have you involved.
checkmateking02 Outstanding, Steve; nice, shiney little bird! Your choice for finish-photo? Looking forward to USS NC!

Hmmm How about #3
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

The Thunderbolt is looking better and better, Nick!
Steve very clean with those U.S. markings beauitful plane.
Taxtp very sharp looking me 163. I like that gray camo and 1st to finish well done.
Did some pin washing and weathering.
Thanks Steve. Its coming on slowly, i think theres more PE than plastic in this build. All i managed to get done last night was one locker and the smoke generators. But i think its almost ready for some paint.
I actually think the U-Boat will be a breeze after this.
Thanks guys,
Bish, wow, I hadn't see the S Boot. Cracking job
Thanks Check
She's done, stick her on the wall!! Now back to the North Carolina.
Exceptional, Steve. Nice work on the NMF! Very good looking!
Check, getting back to the Nick. It needs a little touch up and decals.
