Secret Santa 2020/2021 GB
Posted by modelcrazy on Saturday, October 3, 2020 4:04 PM

OK boys and girls, it looks like I'm in the driver’s seat this year.

Our usual Santa is overloaded with prior priorities and engagements. Hopefully, he will be able to drive the sleigh in 2021, but until then, you got me, Bernard the head elf.

In BK's honor, the rules will stay the same as last year.

1. Sign up to participate via the forums

2. PM me with a kit or scale and area of interest for kits you would like to see in you stocking.

3. Include your full name and address for shipping of your gift, in the PM only.

4. Keep the kit request cost reasonable, many builders aren't made of money. Let's try to keep our requests in the $30-40 range. However, you are totally free to spend what you wish, just don't ask for $300 kits.

5. Sign up deadline is Thanksgiving Day, November 28th.

6. Timeline is Christmas day 2020 to Christmas Eve 2021.

Due to the need to purchase and ship gifts to arrive by Christmas, NO entries will be accepted past the deadline. It just creates too many issues.

PM me with questions and let’s do this and have some fun.

If you've been good little boys and girls this year join up. Since I don't have access to the big guys naughty/nice list it'll just have to be on the honor system.

I know what I want, do you?

One last thing, please try and build your gift within the timeframe. Your giftor has put time and money and thought into your gift just like you did for your giftee.

Now for the badge. Odd for me, you only get one to choose from.

What's the timeline for sending our address and wishlist?  Now, or closer to the cutoff date?

Ok, I have everyone's wish list down. Looking at the list I wish I could get everyone a gift from me, they look fun.

Is there anybody else who would like to join? You still have a month before the wife pulls the names out of the proverbial hat. Big Smile

Starting to look like Santa is going to be busy with an extra sleigh load to deal with, and have to hire some extra brown and purple suited elves.

Brown and purple? Should we be scared? Or maybe it's to be more inclusive of our model-mates who are colorblind? :)

Less than one month left until sign-up are closed!

Anyone else? You don't have to wait in line or wear a mask to let Santa know what you want for Christmas.
