HI ALL I will be getting back into this soon I hope . had started it months ago but had a back surgery in the mean time all I basically all I have done is step 1 LOL I should add this is my first armor kit are there any pe add on sets I should look at as I am not that familiar with pe yet also can anyone give me better direction for building the tracks I was told look good when done bit the instruction are vague the kit does come with a few pe pieces already THANKS for the info

You're welcome----with the halftracks, you can run into an unforeseen problem with the tracks because of the requirement to add track blocks. I very nearly screwed mine up because I didn't account for the height disparity. This will affect the height at which you'll want to glue the suspension arms,. If you glue them without the pads, they will sit too low, and the front wheels will "float". MAKE SURE TO ADD THE "PADS" BEFORE YOU GLUE IN THE SUSPENSION ARMS!

Ignore the stupid Photobucket issue with the "bandwidth" problem here---check back after January 25th and you should be able to see the photos at some point. You might want to read the text about the tracks on this page in the halftrack tutorial.

Those Dragon tracks are tricky, I've built the same kit as doogs has in that tut, defiantly take note of his point on the pads.

As for PE set, I would suggest the Eduard 35688.

i have rhe AFV CLUB kit of the 17. probably 1944 GB as HG PZ DIV in italy before going to the eastern front.
