If you have another go, put the windlass quite central, in place of one bank. Also the mast could be mor in the front perhaps the second bench. Those big boats usually had a second mast aft. There are plenty of pictures in the NMM about that.
michael , it is the heller boat , could you be a bit more detailed , with a bit more aft please , I'm not really happy with it , might have aother go .

Looks good Steve, is that Heller's version of the Launch?, also I believe the windlass would be mounted farther aft.

sorry about that daniel , I put some attach point's for the mast , a windlass , and some block's for the rudder , the mast and sail will go on later , and I still have to paint the rudder .

Wonderfully done! Do not forget the fittings for the mast :-)
And the bigest of the boats usually had a windlass for handling the anchors.

I agree emphatically about both kits! And, I have always received outstanding service and products from Radek. I will have to try his parrels!

either the SL or the victory are great kit's and a joy to do
I have the Heller 1:100 version of this model, so I have joined up here, and will be watching and reading everything. I only hope I can do half as good a job as you are doing. I've also got the Soliel Royal in the 1:100 from Heller as well. I'm not sure which I will do first, but at least I have a choice.
I love what you are doing with this kit! And, I believe that the Heller kit is a great kit to start with to make any conversion. I remember that the other Bill Morrison (GM) once started to convert the kit to the Victory with the raised forecastle bulwarks. The only drawback to the kit as I see it is that the builder has to create his own parrels to attach the yards; that is no small feat! I remember that David_K struggled on his superb Le Soleil Royal. Anyway, You are doing an equally superb job with your model!

I have the Heller plastic verion of this and several others. Not sure what I will do next, but will certainly stay close to the community to make sure I don't go too far astray. This looks awesome. I've helped a friend with a fu;; on wood model, mainly helping with the rigging. I love these ships..

Guys, I have 3 Victorys: Revells 1/225, Airfix 1/180 and Heller 1/100. (My Heller Victory was courtesy of Marco Mosko who owned Model Shipways awhile back. He sent it with 17 tins of paint- Great Guy.) When I'm ready to build I would like to have each kit in a different time frame. So I am looking for help in deciding which kit would be best for what era of the HMS Victorys' life. ie: As built 1765, 1780ish, Trafalger 1805, the present with the "pink" paint? Or?

following michaelD's lead , I have modified the bit's on the upper gun deck .
all lower deck cannon's are now finished , thank
thank's ken , finally finished the port side , now for the starboard .
unfortunately , my rope work , is nowhere near up to kirill's effort's , it's my first go at it , hopefully my next lot will be better .
