Codger Forum?
Posted by TomZ2 on Friday, June 17, 2011 9:29 PM

Given the average age on this playpen, I have to wonder why there isn’t a Codger Forum? If you want to be polite, call it AARP. Or is the issue moot? (I was born in 1947.)

Occasional factual, grammatical, or spelling variations are inherent to this thesis and should not be considered as defects, as they enhance the individuality and character of this document.

I started to respond to this thread earlier, but had to urge to go to the bathroom.  Eventually made it back to finish the thread because I knew there was something I was doing.

I stopped being an old codger years ago, now I'm an old coot.

Winters may be cold in Canada but at least there are no mosquitoes or blackflies

Your glasses are on the night stand, next to your teeth.

He was in port just long enough to see his first born before setting off for the Pacific again.

Sounds like you have me beat by a couple of years Tony . My entry into this world was in 1945 . As for there being a place for codgers i just met a younger modeler (mid 30's ) yesterday in person that frequents these forums and he seemed to be quite impressed with the knowledge of us older modelers . Maybe the codger forum would be a good place to go for reference material from us older members ...............what stories and info  we could share with the youger group !

Born in '40. Will not say I'm the oldest because there is "One who is older than us all". He has been here from the time of the Big Bang and maybe before. We bow to his superior knowledge. Bow Down
