I've been searching but any search that includes "hobby lobby", or "hobbylobby" returns page after page of political stories

I messed up, Steve said it happened at HobbyTown. By the time I replied, my fragile memory turned it into Hobbylobby. Sorry!

Thanks, I tried that, too, but even searching on "hobbytown" and "wisconsin" hasn't returned yet any stories for it.   I'll keep looking...

.....the last person to post on a thread, and have no one reply after. This happens to me, I call myself "a thread killer" ....

Me too! I can't believe you said that. I've been calling myself a "thread killer" for at least a decade, and I thought I invented the term.

Cool to hear you and Steve have thought the same. Small world.

And yes, Stevie, I am an old grump. Scary story from Hobby Lobby. And in civilized Wisconsin no less. Geez.

I think it happened to someone from Hobby Lobby, not at Hobby Lobby...

this thread has taken on an Energizer Bunny life...

Do you guys have any links to that story?  I've been searching but any search that includes "hobby lobby", or "hobbylobby" returns page after page of political stories.  I also searched on "hobby town", since you mentioned that chain, but still couldn't find anything.

The Baron,

I don't believe that the incident happened at a Hobby Town, Bakster was just refering to the gentleman as "Hobby Town guy". He said it happened in a public place, not naming anything specific location.

Edit: And yes, this thread has definitely shot off on a tangent!

Oh man--we have a major train derailment going on here. Who doesn't like a good train crash! Remember the Adams Family show and how Gomez would arrange his trains to crash? Case in point.  LOL

Baron! I feel so bad! My story didn't make the news. This is just a story relayed to me from a HobbyTown employee.

This poor guy talked about getting dental implants to fix things. That won't be cheap, and we have to remember where he is working. I doubt HobbyTown has insurance. I had asked him if the Police were involved, and he said no. They both left the scene without getting the authorties involved. So, getting his mouth fixed is on his dime. It is ugly business that he'll be paying on for a long time to come.

Oh!  Good point!  Okay then how about the train crash in the movie Fugitive. Harrison Ford jumps off the train just before a spectacular crash.

I believe there has to be more to the story than what he said.  Something is off here.

I totally agree. I sensed he was holding back. I assumed he was holding back because the owner of the store was within earshot. Or, maybe he doesn't want to admit  his bigger envolvement. Hard to say.

Since this thread is turning into a huge train wreck, I thought that I would add this:

Gomez has the detonator in his hand and just blew up the bridge. I thought that the Adam's Family show was insanely funny. Almost as funny as Green Acres.

Your comments and questions are always welcome.

I thought you were asking if someone else needs a hug. Hence the Hobbytown guy needs one. Disregard. I misread it.

Is anything on earth as funny as Green Acres? Since you mentioned it, I've watched a couple Adams Family's lately, and they actually were pretty funny. I never realized it as a kid I guess.
