Same here! Something happened after lunch time today when I opened FSM forums, I was logged out. This happens every so often, but this time it would not let me log back in. I'm good on Internet Explorer 11 and Safari, but, no go on Chrome. And yes, I cleared my cache on Chrome.

Yea that’s weird. The wife says it happens to her at work too on certain sites then it works again a day or two later.

I guess they forgot to feed the hamster.

Everytime I reboot my computer I have to log in again.

Feed the blasted hamster!

OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...

I got on with Bing but had to logon again. My phone won't logon no matter what I use.

This site has more problems than any other forum I visit. In fact, other forums I visit don't have any problems at all that I'm aware of. Oh well, this is still my home forum.

Ok, just tried Chrome again at work (7:50AM EST), can't login. Nor at home. Just tried Mozilla at work, and was able to login.

I can login with IE11, Safari, and Mozilla both at work and at home. Only login issue is with Chrome. Very odd.

Yea, tried again on Chrome a bit ago and nothing.Confused Other browsers work.

The wife says it’s something at their end having to do with some kind of program update and or setting changes.

I experienced the same problem and when I tried to reset my password, I was instructed I had to re-register as a new user.

Of coarse I had a slight panic attack.

This was all in Chrome.  I opened the website in Edge and was able to log right on with no problem.  Whew!

Hey everyone! I have a work around for you. The problem has to do with old cookies, so try clearing those along with your cache. If that does not work then going into "incognito mode" should do it. Our tech team is currently working on a permanent solution.

I'll get back to you when I hear more!

"Incognito mode" is working in Chrome.

Very interesting Elizabeth! I did clean up the cookies but that didnt work however the incognito thing worked. So is this like the Romulan Cloaking Device? Propeller

Edit: Did a little more digging and discovered I was deleting a few hours worth of cookies only, I didn't notice the advance settings before and selected "all" which cleaned up the issue so it's back to normal.

Clearing cookies didn't work, but the incognito did seem to help as a band aid fix.

Edge and Bing are working normally.

Scott you may be doing the same thing I did. You need to go into the advance settings to delete all cookies and not just a few hours worth.

Couldn't get in with IE, but chrome blew right in.  At least back in for the time being to get my daily "fix".

Thankful for this post. I've been locked out for a week or so it seems. Incognito worked for me. It's good to be back. Hope FSM can fix this problem.

I've had problems logging in as well. I also have been unable to access my digital copy of FSM for several months without having to call them up. Now they don't respond at all, so I cancelled my subscription. Sad to have had to do it but I didn't see much of an alternative.

Well it's about damn time I was able to log in after almost 1 1/2 weeks of being locked out.

Now to vent out my frustration directly to FSM:

Do yourself a favor... STOP DOING UPGRADES!!!! You're only asking for more trouble if your IT guys keep screwing it up everytime you decide to do an upgrade. If it ain't broke, DON'T fix it!!!!! Rant over....

Had an e-mail from Thgeuns yesterday. he has tried everything including a new account, but he still can't get on. What ever the problem is,it seems to be effecting different people in different ways.

I think the IT guys at FSM must be making some progress, as I finally have been able to log in via incognito mode.  That and deleting all cookies have not worked until just now, on my phone and desktop computer.

When the problem first popped up, I thought I got banned for being naughty!  Now hurrying back to the forum to spread more naughtiness! Devil

It's working ok for me now on my laptop (Win 10) using both Edge and Chrome browsers in normal mode without having to clear the cookies first.

I doubt it. I never cleared out my cache. So it’s got to something screwy on your end with all these upgrades you’ve been doing. Suddenly last night I was able to log on? What does that tell you?

I have not had this  problem BUT many others have.

In my atempts to help others "Fix" or workaround the issue I have run into the following:

Tried the cache and cookie clean up. No go. ( Lost some passwords under IE.)

Tried different browsers.   Log in still fails with Mozilla & IE.

Tried to reset password but get a message that says: "unable to locate you in out system".

Tried Google Chrome. Incognito mode worked.

A couple of quick screen shots on how to get into Chrome INGOGNITO mode.  Click on Customization icon in upper right corner then click on Incognito in the small window that opens:
