I saw the layout of the place yesterday, when I went to the NJHMA's show, you're right, it's not that big.

Getting psyched, it'll be nice to have some money to spend, this time!

That makes me 5 then.  I will be easy to spot, this fat asian kid.  And if that's not descriptive enough, here

John, Bring lots of money.  Better to have it and not need it than to want it and not have enough. (if ya know what I mean)  There were a lot of vendors last year.  I should be there early also.  Don't forget the raffels too.  I won a Trumpeter kit last year that cost $165 for the low low cost of $1.  See ya there!

Wow,that was a good score on the raffle Medic. I'm prob gonna bring like$200 bucks can't go to crazy my part time job has been slow and my buisness I'm trying to build up now that Wall Stadium is running again I hafta go down there and get my name out for bodies and rub rails and the like,I did the same at New Egypt last year but that didn't pan out that great. I'll be easy to spot I always wear a hat with a big P on it its our softball hats for the Piscataway American Legion I belong to,or my Jim Beam hat.My dad is going he wants to go to Rutts Hut its pretty close map quest said like 13 miles I owe him that for his birthday that was in dec. Every weekend we had a chance to go it was crummy out or had somthing to do lol....

John, what is Rutts Hutt?  I think that amount will go far.  I'm in that range too.

By the Way, I'm looking into the darkside of modeling.  So anyone who knows armor, I could use some help selecting some subjects.

Rutts hut is a hot dog joint I saw it on Diners,drive ins and dives on food network.They deep fry the hot dogs till they split the casings prob. real bad for you,but looked real good on tv.Its on River road in Wayne.I have never been there but I'm up there anyways so we are gonna go there after the show.

Thats exactly why we are going. Plus you can't beat a good hot dog.I have directions from the PAL building i am bringing with me if anybody wants to jot them down looking at them right now it say 19 minutes 13 miles away I don't have a working printer otherwise I'd print a bunch up I wrote mine down... Rutt's is in Clifton,not Wayne,it's a great place, been going there for about 45 years,great deep fried chilidogs,used to go as a little kid and eat in the car,was a big day out !!!

Thanks Anthony I must have miss read it off the screen, I was thinking at 13 miles away Wayne must be pretty big lol. Sorry about that guys.

Hey, any suggestion for a group picture? I vote for either 11:30AM or 2PM if people are still up for it.

turns out I will be there early, but then have to leave around 11 to pick up my son and return around 2PM. so if you guys are around 2-2:30, that's good for me. I know its tough to get a bunch of people at the same time.

But either way, hope to meet some of you guys there.

Ok so 2:30 ish at the food concessions.  Smeagol, I can give you a ride if your stuck for transportation.  It's really no problem.

Holy crap that was so awesome.  I made out like a rat bast***, deal wise. 

I got a 1/35 Tauro Sturmpanzerwagon for 15

A 1/35th whippet for 5$ (I opened the box when I got home, and it had a set of after market individuial tank tread links in it!), 

I got myself a 1/25th scale academy Jagdpanther for 25$,

A dragon 1/35th figure kit 'fallen comrad' (because I always buy figure kits and vehichles that have medics in them) for 3$. 

I got a Tamiya Kettenkrad for 5$.

Dragon Schwerer Panzerspahwagon 1/35th rail tank, for 15$

Then to top all of that off, for... all together... 10$ I got myself a 1/35th Dragon Sherman M4A4.  (But to be honest that 10$ includes admision, and the price of a orange and blue (winning) ticket!)

But purchases aside, most awesome part was meeting some of you (ok, two of you) and Judging the Conversion kit section with Wingnut and Medic. 

DUDE... that is quite a haul.  Nice stuff and great deals you got.

This was by far the best show we ahve had.

I am sorry i didn't get to see all of you guys that hopefully made it to the show. Inever madeit to the 2:30 meeting sine we were swamped with judging.

It just feels to good to be sitting down with my shoes off...My dogs are killing me

I don't have my camera charged but I think I did pretty good as well, got two Dragon kits on #6329 M2A1 smart kit half track,$20.00 a 6216 SDKFZ. Elefant $15.00 10th Mountain div. troops gen2 $6.00 and an Academy 1/48 P-38. Now all I have to do is finish rebuilding my shop and I can start them lol....I thought it was a great show really enjoyed myself.My Dad who is a non builder was amazed at the models in the contest area.I don't remeber who built it but there was a sunken sub 1st row about a 1/4 way down that was amazing.Right by that was a shadow box of some British Paras I over heard one guy saying to another that he thought it was an Alamo dio. I chuckled to my self thinking gee I didnt know the Alamo defenders were british and had machine guns lol.. Sorry didn't get to any of you guys but still had alot of fun.My Dad even wants to go to the Amps show in two weeks(and go to Aberdeen,he has been watching to much Tank Overhaul with me....)

Wow, it was a total record event then, wasnt it?  I'm glad I was apart of it... I do feel bad for that recovery vehichle we judged though, it was trying so hard but didnt win.

Any of you others get anything good?  And did you all meet for a photo without us? I wana see if I talked to any of you!

You wana know the coolest thing about that stash I got?  Besides the medic kit, the door prize sherman (though I wanted one) and the Jagdpanther, the rest are kits I have been PINING for, looking at over and over online a hundred times.

I SOOO cant wait for next year!

Ps.  We all had camera problems.  Both me and Chris (medic) forgot our cameras, you forget to charge yours, it sucks.  That sunken sub was amazing, I dont think itd be the same if you saw a photo of it.  And that forced perspective, I stayed at that thing for ages, looking down from all windows and stuff...
