tigerman

So many great builds guys.

Vance, Manny acts like you never build, but you've shown way more then he.

No worries tigerman - I am an admitted slacker, and need the good feldmarschall to kick me in the tailfeathers from time to time! Oh, and I should be finishing off one more little kit for the end of the year. (Technically, decals probably won't go on until tomorrow, but I'll be counting it anyway! Whistling) Hughes MD500 in Israeli markings, my first chopper. Can't get over how tiny this thing is!

On the bench: Airfix 1/72 Wildcat; Airfix 1/72 Vampire T11; Airfix 1/72 Fouga Magister

Ok, I have now completed my last model for 2011 and can now post my finished builds for this year. While I did complete many builds this year, a good portion of them were started in 2010 or before... and my 2011 New Years modeling resolution of starting fewer new builds until I made a good dent in the "in progress" builds paid off. Whistling On to the builds...

My first completed build of 2011 was this Fujimi 1/48 AH-1E TOW Cobra

and then in no particular order... Italeri 1/48 OH-58A

Dragon 1/350 Soviet Alfa Class SSN

Dragon1/350 USS Dallas SSN

Airfix 1/350 HMS Torbay SSN

Revell 1/48 F-84E Thunderjet

Revell Germany (ex Aurora/Monogram) box scale USS Skipjack SSN

Tamiya 1/35 Kfz 251/1C

Otaki/Arii 1/48 FW-190 A8/R1

Tamiya 1/35 Centurion Mk.3

Monogram 1/48 F9F-5

Tamiya 1/35Renault UE Armored Carrier

Revell (ex-Monogram) 1/48 PCF Swift Boat

Academy 1/35 M151A1C

ESCI 1/35 LAV C2

and my last completed build for 2011, Dragon's 1/35 Panzer Mk III H

Toast Happy New Years folks!

Stik, Trey, Fermis.  Thanks for dropping your stuff in here.  What a treat to see this kind of work and the variety you guys delve into.  What a Forum Gallery we've put together here.  Everyone should be proud of the work shown in this thread.  I hope the new year will bring another flood of great work.  Rick

Thank you BSY. The Swift boat was certainly more fun to do. The build was so simple that most of the work was in finishing.
