Yes LEGO kits are becoming or are already very, very popular.

Hasegawa's 72nd F-111's have been hard to get old of for some years. But Hobby 2000 have released 1 of the hase kits with Cartograf decals and masks. And it just happens to be the version and marking option i have been wanting, an F from the 48th TFW base at Lakenheath.

I know they have released boxings of the Fujimi Stuka even some versions Fujimi didn't do. Going to have to get those.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

I've been hankering for one of these for awhile. Just found the FDR on eBay; seller says there's two airplanes and a mast missing. Sounds like easy replacements and I was planning on AM jets anyway.
Also gonna number it as Midway.

Bish - I love Cartograph decals. Those H2000 kits are a bargain with the included mask and decals.

SC - That looks like an original release to me.  That box will be a keeper.

Hi,

I got this in the mail last week but never got around to posting it.  I'm really looking forward to eventually putting it together since I like large scale models of small ships, and I also am interested in the pre-dreadnaught era.

Love the Ping Yuen Pat! That is going to be a great kit. Lots of other good stuff there folks, but I'll have to pass on the Lego.

These showed up today:

The car and bike are for someone else.  The hamburger vending machine is mine.  Big Smile  I just love the wacky off-beat subject, in injection molded plastic, AND from a mainstream manufacturer!

The chef cat is adorable.

I didn't realize all the different subjects available for modelers.

Lots of cool stuff.

Do you need to buy hamburgers separately for it? They already sell missiles...

Two plastic burger boxes are provided, but no actual burgers.  Will have to wait for Quickboost or Eduard Brassin resin aftermarket set.  Big Smile  Some cutout cardstock containers would have been nice.

Actually, it would be pretty easy to make the burgers out of polymer clay.

Wow, those are cool guys! Though I liked Legos better when they were more generic instead of kits designed to build one specific vehicle.

Love that Haul Real G, love that reverse trike. She's got a cool futurisic cyberpunk look to her. And the car is signed? Very cool! I think I'd want them for myself instead of a friend!

And that vending machine is awesome! Wish they made one in 1/25th to go with car models. 1/12th I don't have as much use for although I do have some Star Trek and Wars figures in that scale. I'm not sure if they have cheeseburgers in the future or a galaxy far far away.

Actually there is a Coke machine in 1/24 scale:

It's a one-piece resin "kit", with waterslide decals.  It's... a Doozie.  Stick out tongue

It helps if you look at it as two hobbies.

1. Building

2. Collecting

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

What if you only have one eye? Gets tiring looking back and forth between the two hobbies.

I've had to come to that realization myself!  I think I enjoy collecting more than building.

It’s been a time since the last update I’ve made I believe almost three months. Here’s what I’ve picked up during my various travels and eBay.

My new hobby seems to be collecting model kits and occasionally gluing a few pieces together.
