Well, yesterday after AMPS here, it was the monthly visit to Andy's where I picked up these items

 

 

The Egyptian and Syrian Sands will come in handy on some future projects, and one can never have enough Value Gear... ;)

My latest acquisition came from my better half

There is actually a neat story behind this one.  I actually already had this kit in the stash. Of course, my wife didn't know that.  There is a place here in the Houston area called Nellis Auctions (there are only 2 other locations in the US) which sells stuff really cheap.  I believe the stuff is largely sourced from Amazon returns.  She got this $100 kit for $27.

I was concerned that it might have been missing some parts or decals, but I opened my original boxing and compared.  Everything is there.  So my wife scored a great deal.

Yes but an old shape! I just wish they would bring their moulds up to date! I'm just researching to find how I can make it interesting! We don't see them on the streets here anymore!
