That Wolf does look a nice kit doesn't it, i got the MILAN version a few months back.

 

It sure does look like a nice kit. I also picked up the MILAN version a couple summers ago. Once I get all the Landrovers in my stash built there will be quite the group.

Ye, sounds like it. I might just pick up another one, but first kit i am planning to get next year is the Accurate Armour resin SNATCH.

My ”to get” list for next year so for is: Dragon M48A1, Dragon M103A1, and Hobbyboss Fast Attack Vehicle. Perhaps the  (Takom?) FV.432 and Dragon Saladin as well. All 1/35 of course... I’ll have to look up that Accurate Armor SNATCH. 

I am doing the 432 for the modern armour GB, so hopefully will give you some insight. The saladin is on my watch list as well along with the Jackal and Coyote from Hobby Boss.

I just got Polar Light’s 1/350 K’Tinga Klingon Battlecruiser, and holy gabongas, it is a monster!

Even though the 1979 “Star Trek: The Non-Motion Pajama Party” is not in my Top Ten movie picks, the K’Tinga and the refit Enterprise are definitely in my Top Ten movie spaceship list.

The kit, like Christmas for kids, seemed to take forever to get here, but it is here now for all Trek fans to enjoy.  I do not particularly like huge kits, but I am very glad that Polar Lights did it, and made the effort to thoroughly research the original studio prop.

Things are a bit hectic right now, so I just slid it under the Christmas tree to keep me from diving in. Merry, glorious Christmas to the Empire - blood wine for everyone!

Ohhhhhhhhhh all those kits you guys listed above sound cool but this K'Tinga blows me outta the water!!! 

I just got a virtual one for my Klingon character on Star Trek: Online. Nope don't want no silly Bird of Prey I want my BATTLECRUISER!!!'  That's a true Klingon ship not some silly knock-off of a Romulan vessel!!! 

Looking forward to photos too G! I watched a YouTube review the other day and it seems pretty friggin' amazing!

BTW did you get the lighting kit too?

Gamera - I did get the lighting kit.  But I have plans to upgrade the strobes and replace the forward torpedo lighting effect with a cycling build up then fire feature.  I am tuning in on the model forums to see what the omissions and fixes are for the lighting kit.  But the plastic itself is great to go, so for people not planning on lighting the kit, they can just jump in and build a fabulous looking model!

I hope I don't start to want a 1/350 refit Enterprise.

Yes, that is rather large isn't it.

Now that is immensely impressive. I understand that that comes with lighting also.

Joe, the lighting kit is sold separately.

If the kit is made without lighting, it looks to be an easy build.  There really aren’t that many pieces, and the large parts appear to fit well.

One caveat is that the locator pins are small for the size of the kit, so the sockets will benefit from a slight drilling out.  Others have reported snapped pins due to the tight fit.

Christmas shopping for non-modeling family strangely found myself in the model shop. Came away with Tamiya's LRDG command car 32407; having completed and proudly displayed the SAS jeep a while ago adding to it has long been on my mind.

Next I would like an example of the Sunderland MK111, I built one when in my teens; but having read about the Sunderlands recently once again on my mind.

I just picked up Tamiya's new Supermarine Spitfire Mk. I, 1/48 (even though I have their earlier Mk. I kit in my stash), and Bandai's B-Wing starfighter from the movie Return of the Jedi, with the special edition lighting kit

Hope everyone got what they wanted for Christmas this year! My wife always takes a few models off my wish list from spruebrothers and this year she really nailed it!

Then my mother-in-law gave me a $30 gift card to hobby lobby that I used to get some milliput and the Bandai Snow Speeder.

The Howitzer was a kit I've been wanting and seen it come up on ebay last month at a great price. My mother-in-law has a ebay store so we always ask her to order for us well she said she needed something to get me for Christmas so she paid for it but I couldn't play with it till Christmas lol. The kit is brand new never been open but the DS parts in the kit some wiker shell boxes and mat the bag they are in are full of oil or something and the parts are turning to dust anytime you pick the bag up they just crumble.

Clint - Whoa! I'd say that your wife nailed it. Those are inpressive to say the least.

I've added a few new choice items to the stash recently that have me rather excited. Managed to obtain some kits that I've had my eye on for awhile.

If you have not had the opportunity to set your eyes on a Flyhawk ship model then I hope you do in the future. They are immensely impressive. The molding and detail are exquisite. I ordered this 1/700 Prince of Wales from Asia for a very reasonable $43.00. It is the deluxe version that comes with a load of PE and metal gun barrels for the main and secondary armament.

I scored these treasures off of auctions. The Monitor and Merrimac, although fairly simple, will be a fun build. I'm was stoked to score the Lancaster for $22.00.

And then there is the Christmas haul. I always recieve money from the wife and my mother to buy myself kits. As such, I finally bought myself these beauties. The Hasegawa Kawanishi H8K2 Emily is their new limited edition mold and it is one gorgeous, albeit large, kit.

Needless to say, I had a marvelous flying boat type of Christmas. It was glorious!
