I use Postimage.org. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to post pics. I'm happy with it and screw you Photobucket!!

The best part? It's free and I don't need to set up an account to post pics. Setting up an account is optional though.

I've got the grey dot.  I went to flicker.  But when I try to post a picture here FSM asks for a source and a size.  How do I answer?

Hello Don!

At first I didn't see a thing. Then I have logged on to my google account. After that I reloaded the page and after that I see that gray circle with a white dash in it. I browse from Poland and I use Windows 7 and regularly updated Firefox. I sure do hope you can figure out some reliable picture hosting service. Have a nice day

I do see the pic.  No Google account, and browser is Firefox on an iMac.  Nice to see your P-59 again.  Smile

Cheers, Mark

You are visible again and it still looks good! No Google affiliation other than to use it. Mac/Safari here.

hi Don, I see it. I do have Google accounts and am using Chrome. Last week I was one of a few that saw the P-59 pictures at first then when tried to view them again, just got the grey circle/minus sign.

I will come back to this again later and see if it happens again, will let you know.

Photo hosting experiment
Posted by Don Stauffer on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 9:10 AM

With the changes to Photobucket, lots of us are scrambling to find a new photo hosting site.  After trying a few others, I had found Google Photo to be convenient, and started using it for FSM picture posts.

However, I find that some people can see the pictures I post, and some cannot.  I am trying to find out why this is.  So this is a little experiment and survey.  I am posting a picture below, and wonder how many of you can see the image. Let me know if you can see it, and answer two other survey questions.

1.  Are you signed up with a google account (Google +, Google docs, Google Play/Store for Android, etc.)?

2.  What browser are you using (Chrome, Firefox, something from Apple, one of the Windows standard browsers, etc.)?
