I am really impressed with the level of craftsmanship I see in this thread. The finished subjects are second to none.... Here is my meger contribution for my last three.
1/16 Kubelwagen by Tamiya: (Group Build)
The kubel was built mostly out of the box except the fuel line and transmission shifting rod. The tarp rolls were after-market resin. The kit driver was not used and a 4 figure multi-piece resin kit was purchased from the after-market, slightly modified, and detailed with other PE and lead foil straps.
1/350 HMS Roberts by Trumpter: (Group Build)
This was my first ship on over 20 years. I went all-in with the wood on the deck and boats, metal barrels, and countless PE. I gained new respect for boat builders after this one was done.
1/35 Swedish MBT103-S Tank by Trumpter. (Group Build)
The Swedish splinter camouflage scheme was painted freehand with a hairy stick. Just wanted to see if I could pull it off versus buying the masks and using the AB.
1/48 Apollo 11 "Eagle" Lunar Lander by Monogram: (Group Build)
Adding a 4th as it was being finished near the same time as the MBT-103. Other than the actual leg post and foot, all of the decent module was scratch built (kit parts were lost). In kind, much of the acent module was modified for accuracy based on many sources. The lunar surface came with the kit, but the two astronauts were also after-market (lost too). The lunar test equipment was all modified based on photos of the actual items.
As I said before, the skills shown in this thread are simply fantastic! Great job EVERYONE!
