Hi all! Blush [:I]

I'm Jonathan or 'Lipton' as what my friends at IPMS-P-BAC branded me (yes with that red-hot iron he hehe). Big Smile [:D]

I build WW2 and modern armors in 1:35th scale. But I'm venturing out na rin sa aircrafts, nakakahawa kasi sina Buck at Bistro. I'm currently giving the 2nd BACup a try so tigil muna lahat ng pending armors ko (I miss my 'Shilka' na Disapprove [V]). Big Smile [:D]

Oh by the way, give the 2nd IPMS Philippines-Bert Anido Nationals a shot, its open for all scale modellers in the Philippines. http://www.ipmsphilippines.com/

Ey emjaetee !!!

Bistro and Lipton,

Eyyy! Fancy meeting you guys here. Welcome!!!

Welcome too to Emjaetree!

Shrikes,

Its "Dampa sa Libis" located just in front of Jollibee. I heard its already open but the choices of seafood may not be as vast as in Paranaque. Check it out my friend. Hope theres a good deal on lobsters there. Im a certifiable lobster addict!

Sigman,

I usually get my stuff at JMNs in Harrison, Hobbies and Comics in Cinema Square, and Lils outlets. And then of course theres the club trade vine. Hehehe! I use a Tamiya HG trigger type AB. Fine piece of equipment, and cleaning takes just seconds. I still keep my old standard Tamiya Spraywork AB as back-up.

Your a lobster addict too?!? Whenever someone in the family has a birthday, the celebrant chooses where to eat, and so, the running joke is to eat at Red Lobster, or this nice sea food place my ninang knows of in Rhode Island!! Tongue [:P]

It's good to see more and more people here!

Shrikes,

I know youre a seafood and a Sutukil fan too. LOL.

Where is Red Lobster? Ive always wanted to try Rhode Island lobster. But I havent been to Rhode Island. Sigh. Someday, someday...

Oh by the way, you ever do your groceries in SM Mega? Go to the seafood section. Theres almost always stock of flathead lobsters, and at P300+ a kilo (that translates to about 4-7 pieces) its a bargain! The thing is, I think some people dont know its actually a species of lobster. Its known locally as "pitik" but man, its every ounce a lobster.

Hello to all.... I"m a newbie in this forum too. Been building kits since the mid 80's but stopped during college. I've only been re-introduced to the hobby last January of this year and acquired an airbrush a couple of months ago. I've started re-honing my skills on some 1/144 Shanghai Dragon modern aircrafts (they come cheap for practice) but have some 1/72 aircrafts and helo kits in line to be built. I also am planning to get my feet wet into some 1/24 ESCI old-stock automobile kits I acquired this weekend and 1/144 Gundam HG kits. I know that's a lotta genres for a newbie but I really wanna get a feel of each before narrowing it down to what I really want..... so far my real favorite is the Soviet Mi-24 Hind.

Really, cbrain!? that would be really great! if i'm not mistaken, the kit is actually the experimental version of lockheed's bid for the JSF plane that has the VSTOL capacity like the Harrier and go supersonic with just one configuration..... the contender is the BOeing X-32A/B which has uniwings...

Lockheed won.. and as they say, it has better "looks compared to boeing's as they dub it "a plane with the looks that only a mother could love"! Big Smile [:D] you should watch the NatGeo Special coverage of these planes as one of your references!

Smile [:)] Hope you get it soon! baka mabili na yun... wala na!Wink [;)]

Lipton,

Check out SM Mega. Try out the pitik my friend. Its A-ok! Well, actually, alimango (crab) has its own appeal to the taste buds, and I could probably eat a big sample whole. I didnt like lobsters the first time I tried it, but now I cant get enough of the flavor. Hehehe!

Mang Ernie & Cbrain,

Kamusta (how are you)? Hope to see you post your works here soon.

Why is it that Filipinos love to talk about food?!? I find that even when we're eating, we talk about what food we'll have for the next meal! (Is this just my family or does it happen elsewhere?) Wink [;)]

Hi there, Mr. Ben!

I found X-32s in STC ATC and Festival... but no X-35s... I don't think I'd be able to go to Ali Mall soon enough. far from where I live. Smile [:)] I'll try to find it nearby.

Thanks,
MJT

Hey shrikes, where in QC are you ?
I'm from Cubao, I'm into WWII Bombers too but I include modern and sci-fi.
Mostly I'm into 1/72nd scale German aircraft, I also build German armor in 1/35
and German ships in any scale but much prefer 1/350 scale. I'm a new
member of IPMS-Manila.
