Any places you can recommend with great eats??? ... and welcome all the Filipino guys who entered this thread. I'm so glad our hobby is growing. I saw the exhibit of BAC a few weeks ago at the NAIA and I think it's great. Keep it up guys! For those who posted here without affiliations in clubs, my two-cents worth is - it's really all up to you. Honestly, having affiliations is a really big plus (that's speaking from experience). A lot of the other guys will attest to this but let's face it, "Different strokes for different folk", di ba? I respect that. All the clubs you'll find scattered around the Philippines are great clubs (I've known a couple) and they've got great poeple behind them. Sometimes you hear stuff about one club or another but that's just people blowing off steam... By far, the proliferation of clubs are - in my opinion doing the modeling hobby in the Philippines a lot of good. Modelers are coming out of the woodwork and making themselves known. I really love this hobby... It's ironic that a place like that where a major manufacturing plant of a major model maker has a single hobby shop... Funny, huh? I'm confident that the clubs will come together... We're a shy group of hobbyists and I guess all we need is time. We can't rush things like this. It's like waiting for a mango to ripen... the sweetest tasting ones are always the ones allowed to grown in their own time... I stopped due to my studies and my work and I guess just got my priorities mixed up... Anyway, I met Noel Carpio - the IPMS-Manila Chapter Contact at work (we worked together in the same company a while back). He was the one who got me into BAC. They are a great group of guys! Just remember that the most important thing is to make models - everything else is secondary...
