You are correct, this is my 8th diorama overall. Tongue [:P]. I have only 1 Firefly at hand but she's already too big for that dio base.Big Smile [:D]. But I imagine how cool it would be seeing many Fireflies on the field.Smile [:)]

Thanks. I appreciate the comments coming from an experienced modeler like you.Shy [8)]

B.I.? Ako? I just awoke his sleeping passion for modeling a Macross Valkyrie. Evil [}:)] Muhehehehehee. That goes for Bistro as well.

Dhel? Dunno, haven't seen her post for quite some time now. Seems that the "tres marias" (Beth, Dhel, & Lani) have gone MIA ever since you went AWOL here in FSM. Ehehehehe Tongue [:P]

Dwight: Looing good, buddy! That base'll make your firefly even more impressive! Smile [:)]

Daryl: Welcome to the FHM FSM Forums! Wink [;)] Quite a number of pinoy modelers here. What subjects do you model?

Okay, let me share with you what currently on my workbench:
This is the SabreDog i hope to have ready before the nationals. It's almost ready for painting. Hmmmm.... Do you guys remember what mix Tito Ting used for the different shade of Metal on the upper surfaces of the wing? Was it gray and base color?

Here is a shot of my avenger for the Gambier Bay. I was able to borrow redknight's Compressor, so I'm trigger happy here at home!! Tongue [:P]

Detail shot that shows some overspray... Ooops. Blush [:I] I'll fix this later today.

If you don't mind, I would like to share with you the not-so-completed Diorama No. 8! "May Your Spirit Ride With The Wind".

The diorama was supposed to be centered on my recently built M4A4 Sherman Firefly VC but it turned out (IMHO) that the focus shifted to a british soldier giving his prayers to a fallen comrade whom he took time to give a decent burial. I tried to get the effect of wind blowing on all possible elements of the dio to fit the proposed title.

While I am still contemplating of adding some stowage to the tank...I may do that later.

Here it is folks... Wink [;)]

Comments are welcome.Smile [:)]

Busy? Not really. I just don't feel like building models this days. I have one project that is halfway done but I just don't have the drive to finish it. It's summer time here anyway so might as well take advantage of the outdoors. Maybe I'll get back into it after my trip to the West Coast.Wink [;)]

I just salvaged a few 1/700 carriers from my old house (Saratoga, Enterprise and Hornet). After cleaning, restoring, reoaring and a rehab of its camouflage, to my horror, most of the planes for the carriers were missing or beyond repair. I managed to get a Tamiya 1/700 B-25 set for the Hornet but I cant seem to find any 1/700 early WWII American carrier aircraft (Wildcats, Dauntless and Devastators). Is there any store in
Metro Manila that still stocks these kits. Lil's in Makati used to have them but in a recent visit, all I could find were Japanese planes. Help!!!
