cbrain: Thanks for the remarks. Here are the list of materials I used:

Base - Styrofoam (carved with a knife) and topped with wall putty
Tree - Wire wrapped in masking tape with leaves from scotchbrite pads and Woodland Scenic Turf Material
Tall Grass - Wide Chinese brush
Turfing - Woodland Scenics Turfing Material

All painted in Tamiya Acrylics

You are correct, this is my 8th diorama overall. . I have only 1 Firefly at hand but she's already too big for that dio base.. But I imagine how cool it would be seeing many Fireflies on the field.

Okay, let me share with you what currently on my workbench:
This is the SabreDog i hope to have ready before the nationals. It's almost ready for painting. Hmmmm.... Do you guys remember what mix Tito Ting used for the different shade of Metal on the upper surfaces of the wing? Was it gray and base color?


Here is a shot of my avenger for the Gambier Bay. I was able to borrow redknight's Compressor, so I'm trigger happy here at home!!

I have one project that is halfway done but I just don't have the drive to finish it. It's summer time here anyway so might as well take advantage of the outdoors. After cleaning, restoring, reoaring and a rehab of its camouflage, to my horror, most of the planes for the carriers were missing or beyond repair. I managed to get a Tamiya 1/700 B-25 set for the Hornet but I cant seem to find any 1/700 early WWII American carrier aircraft (Wildcats, Dauntless and Devastators). Is there any store in Metro Manila that still stocks these kits. Lil's in Makati used to have them but in a recent visit, all I could find were Japanese planes. Help!!!
