Haaay! Unat. Unat

Matagal tagal na rin akong di bumisita rito. Kamusta to everyone!!!

Alex,

Nice pic! Hard to fathom the sheer size of the Nimitz class. You got more pics? post naman sa forum natin, please. Smile [:)]

Junior,

Talaga? Theyve decided to build a 10th Nimitz class? And name it after George Bush?

I wont be surprised if Italeri simply repackages their Nimitz kit. Okay lang sana the seeming dearth in details but the limited airwing makes it worse.

hI GUYS, I was able to do some modeling last weekend and allow me to share with you my latest work (a remodeling work, actually.)

Well this is neither really new nor old. The idea came from my old diorama which was accidentally (really?) knocked down by my 2 year old kid from the table last weekend. [:0] Some of you may have seen the old dio but I have to remodel it (or what's left of it) to salvage a good idea. Tongue [:P] It is not fully completed as I have yet to put it on a wooden base and the paint I think is not yet fry.

With some additional figures and stuff from the spares box...I give to you, DIORAMA NO. 4 Ausf. B Big Smile [:D]

Good morning modelers! just joined the forum and it's nice to know that many filipino's are into modeling. it's been a long time i've been looking for organization or group that can help me improve my ideas and skills in modeling. i collects any model that my budget can afford. i just hope that i can buy my own house to display them. i got a problem displaying my model even in my room because my nephew knows how to get them. anybody have a reference of 1:72 F4 Phantom that was used or assigned here in the philippines? thanks in advance. Welcome to the FHM boards anzac.... este FSM pala.... ehehehe.

Regarding your query to join a modeling club. Why not try to join us (IPMS-Phils. BAC) during one of our weekly Saturday builds in the UP Fine Arts Bldg. (Bartlett Hall) or the club's monthly meetings every 3rd Sunday of the month. Everybody's welcome and registration isn't necessary outright.... try to get a feel of the club and its members first and decide whether you'd like to sign-up or not. Big Smile [:D]

We also have a website you might want to visit.... http://www.ipmsphilippines.com/
I believe some members may also be able to help you regarding the F4s stationed here in the Philippines and I think some have also made a number of these F4s.

Mang Ernie: Thanks. Actually I was able to salvage 3 figures, the pig and some jerry cans from the destroyed diorama and spent time mainly on the base.

anzac724: Welcome to the forum. Glad you can join us.

Didn't make it to SM last night. We had some problems at the office and I wasn't able to get off work until 7:15 PM. Tried to rush back home to get my entries but got stuck in traffic on my way to SM.Disapprove [V] Oh well...I'll be there on Saturday to see the models.Tongue [:P]

Anyway...there was nothing I could do so I just headed home and worked on my M-36 until 2:00 AM.

Just got through the intial paint job and weathering on the hull interior. If anyone has a manual on how to keep a tank squeaky clean then kindly pass it to me. I think I need one. Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]

hi anzac724,

with regards to F-4 phantoms stationed in the philippines, USAF phantoms have the codes 'PN' on its fin. so if you see pics of phantoms with this code, they were based in Clark AFB.

i have some pics of these phantoms but i dont know any reference or webpage dedicated to phantoms in the philippines. although aeromaster has decals of Clark based phantoms in 1/72 scale.

hope this helps.

i hope everybody can drop by at the Cyberzone!

there are a lot of visitors and our members are very busy
there are close to 400 entries and the judges will sure have a hard time judging Big Smile [:D]. the Aquino brothers, both retired PAF generals were there the whole day judging for the aircraft categories! they were both tired later but said that they enjoyed every moment of it! Smile [:)]

we are expecting Tamiya representatives this weekend to judge also. They will be bringing in a built up kit of their new 1/32 scale F-16CJ kit. I think this will be released officially by November but were lucky to be one of the first to see the kit! The representatives i heard, will be raffling off Tamiya giveaways and goodies.

also to judge is a modeler from IPMS-Indonesia.

Aside from trophies, winners will receive gift items and giveaways from Sbarro Pizza, Globelines Broadband and Globe Handyphone.

Winners will also receive resin sets from Obscureco Products, an aftermarket company based in California that produces excellent resin aftermarket products for aircraft kits sent in 50 items!
I suggest you visit their site to see what we shall be giving away on Sunday www.obscureco.com.

we hope to see you this weekend!

Congratulations to your 2nd IPMS Natl's!

May katagalan na din ako di nakapag post dito, sa bundok kasi ako lagi nadidistino, warina nakababa na rin. hehehe.

I read in another forum that there was an unfortunate incident that happend in the opening day, i know from the tread to avoid trouble some people are specifically banned from coming and yet, one came and got what he wanted. man that was stupid.Sign - With Stupid [#wstupid] LOL bad thing though he had to generalized the issue and the whinning flowed like water. i bet this was the crybaby lani was talking about. lalaki ba to'?
