WOW!!!! Grabeh! Good work on both tank and base.
I really need to redo my M-10.... haaaayyy

Some questions:
- What did you use for the grass? Spices ba 'to?
- How did you do the rain streaks/marks?
- Pwede ba gamitin yung Elmer's wood filler as ground work? Tingin ko parang pwede eh. I'm just too chicken to try it... he he he

Lipton, thanks.

1. Grass - a mixture of Woodland Scenics Course Turf (from Comics & Hobbies) and artificial grass (fabric type from Uniwide - cut into small bits)
2. Rain Streaks - when doing the wash I apply it using a brush (up down motion) simulating rainwater going down the sides of the tank. Then I highlight the streaks using a brown/dirt/rust colored paint mix applied with a thin brush. Sometimes I really go to the extreme and apply too much streaks. I just finished re-painting my t34 and mas visible and streaks:

3. Elmer's wood filler? Hmmm di ko pan nasubukan pero so I am not sure.

Again, thanks.

Sale pa yunSad [:(]? i bought mine at Lil's Makati for only P480. i hope you haven't bought one yet...regarding the kit, there are some fit problems and corrections on the smoke stack , Ar props, crane cabin and range finders so far, yan pa lang ang napansin ko, but, manageble and its a repack skywave/pitroad kit w/ added lower hull, the dimensions are acceptable well simply for a 1/700 kit its one of the best..bilin mo na yan.hehehe

hope this helps.

Yo! Dwight! Nice T34 also, but I prefer the streaks effect on the Jackson, Its more subtle. Well thats the way I see it of course. BTW, you may want to be more irregular and random on paint chips and scratches on the T34 (last picture). I can't do a snowy paint yet so ala akong K mag comment, just an observation.... he he he he ;o)

OK. I'll experiment with the Wood Filler (nay ku).

Thanks for the tips. I'll do that on the dio I'm making now. I'll post pics here too. ;o)

Hi Rod! Welcome back. :o).

Beth bakit po madalang si Dhel mag-post?

Mang Ernie. Wag mo sasali sa Internal yang artillery mo ha, para may chance naman kami.... he he he ;o)

Well I was able to get fresh batteries for the camera so here are some progress pics of Dragon Hornisse that I am currently working on. I am in the process of weathering the upper hull as well as adding the rest of the accessories and details.

Note: The decals on this kit are horribly thick and stiff. I have to hand paint the numbers and trim the cross and the mark on the front fender. I think lots of work will be required to make them unnoticeable later.

More progress pics to come. :D

That's great sig.... how is it? Did you order it online? I currently feel the need for a 2nd airbrush for those so-called pencil-thin spray stuff. I have a Crescendo 175 but changing needles from medium to fine and back again to medium is starting to get tedious in the middle of a painting session.

Thanks. Yes, that's free-hand using Tamiya Acrylics liberally thinned with casino rubbing alcoholSmile [:)] and sprayed through Tamiya HG AB.

rod,

Thanks. Yes I built it OOB. And yes, freehand lang yung camo using Tamiya HG AB. I just copied the scheme illustrated in the instructions.

Again, Thanks sa comments.

cbrain,

Yep, I order it online and my mom brought it with her when she visited her relatives in the states. I haven't have the time yet to test it. Its the fifth airbrush i have including the spraywork. Consider me an airbrush junkie.Big Smile [:D] cbrain, why don't you try an anthem, it has one purpose needle for all type of lines.

rod, I'm ditto with your spraywork comment on the issue of fine lines, but i admit that it is a great airbrush. I still use it a lot.

Well I slapped on everything there is to slap on it, except the 2 pieces of brass rounds. I weathered this thing to the point that I think it so dirty that my wife may throw it away.

Now I am still thinking what to do next as I am looking for appropriate figures and base.
