Looks pretty good overall.  The grey cockpit looks weird though.

Excellent job there Owl, Yes Yes

I like the grey cockpit, despite it's accuracy. Smile

I am tempted to build a heli, does anyone know if there is a Sikorsky CH-53E in a scale in a similar size to 1:72?

RRB italeri produce MH-53E in 1/72 ,i built one in 90. Really good kit at good price (avctually about 16€ in europe) here some shot with pave low III even from italeri kit

Sea dragon and Pave Low 3

Kit includes decals for a dark grey subject (hc-4 sea stallions based on Sigonella base) and a japanese white and light grey version.

Better way to get some litter helo before to build the giant.

Thanks guys. Im really happy with how it turned out. And it looks pretty cool to boot. Yeah, the grey cockpit stands out a bit, but it draws a bit of attention, soooooo I like it.  At least now I know what color the cockpits should be and wont make the same mistake.  Toast

RRB, I always thought the sea-stallion looked pretty BA, but that thing is HUGE!! Look: It picks up fighter planes! Indifferent

I think your build came out fantastic. I just happen to be starting on a CH-47 tonight and I hope it comes out as good as your build did.

I think theres a difference between the "Seastallion" and the "Superstallion" I think the Superstallion looks much better.

Herc i hope you going to post the wip Stick out tongue

RRB Seastallion and Seadragon have lots of differences two and three enines is one , and for me the dragon is my favourite copter. Also the biggest occidental helicopter (on mother russia he's beated in dimensions by Mi-6 ,mi-10, mi-26 and mil v-12)

Great looking build OWL, Yes

I once had to hook up an 4x4 under a Seastallion. The downwash was so strong, i couldn't stand up even when underneath. And once i got off the truck, it pushed me and by bubby back. A hell of a lot stronger than a Chinook.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
