I built this three years ago, but just got around to the canopy this weekEmbarrassed.  1.48 Monogram Panther I got for five dollars at a show. It's a great kit.

Don't know if I've showed these or not. My favorite Monogram/Revell plastic no matter what decals they toss in the box. Trying out the 1/32 Kitty Hawk kit now. Some fit issues but really nice kit.

Now that I can see this, that is magnificent! I truly love the two-tone metal finish.

Thanks Mark! There are so many little flaws in this thing when you're up close and personal. But from a couple feet away, it looks good. She's no contender... but she's done!

OUTSTANDING JOB, Stik!! How many different shades of silver are on that thing?? Must've been a lot of masking involved!!

Shipwreck, thank you. I like to enter my builds in our monthly IPMS Chapter contests. Nothing major, but those can be tough competitions at the times. And yeah, I agree 100% and like to build how I like as well.

DD, I used steel at the exhaust area and on the gun blast panels. Model Master Metalizer Magnesium in the wing centers. The rest was Humbrol enamel and Model Master acrylic Aluminums. And yes there was lots of masking at one point or another.

B_one and silent bob, those are two beautiful builds there also!

Here is my Monogram Razorback that I just finished a day ago. It was a rush job so I decided not to put the cockpit in and paint the windows black. As it turned out, this caused the project to take twice as long ;-) since the Monogram canopy does not fit closed, I had to graft the one piece canopy on from the Otaki kit!

Last week I basically finished my 1/48 B-26. There is still some minor weathering and possibly a hard stand yet! It was built as B-26 B-25-MA, 41-31773, PN-O, Flak Bait, 322nd Bomb Group, 449th Bomb Squadron, 8th Air Force, On 16-October-1943 the Group was reassigned to the Ninth Air Force. The model represents Flak Bait on 18 April 1945 as she is prepared to lead the 422nd Bomb Group on a mission against Magdeburg, Germany on her 200th mission. Her first mission was in 1943, By her 200th mission , a couple of years later, she was very "weathered".
