So far, I think the clock and amoeba are the two contenders for the title!

.........combining the two would make a good inspiration for a 1950s style Sci-Fi B movie, too! Big Smile

A time-traveling amoeba???

BTW: I hope the amoeba isn't life-sized. I'd need a stronger Opti-visor...

It would be interesting to photograph.

Get the Moebius 1/32 scale Proteus and build it 'flying' under the amoeba.

Joe I bought this in the mid 90's from a company that is no longer around.  This thing was huge. I think the wingspan was around 28"   Here is a pic of a pic. This is on my picnic table to give you a size idea.

There is a conversion for this in 1/32nd.One of these days i just might have to do it.

Those things are monsters. If I had the chance to buy one big kit it would be between this one or a 1/48 scale He-177.

TJ: You just saved the resin mid-wing section and not the rest?

The plastic was in pretty sad shape after the fall. Did a nose dive from about 5 feet up onto a cement floor. Both nose cones were shattered and just about every seam was split. Was able to save the paddle blades for the props. Of course they were all individualized.  What a mess

I'll revive an old thread I started in 2012 when I first got on with FSM. I always thought this thread was alot of fun as I've seen some really oddball kits out there.

Deifinatly a thread thats worth breathing fresh life into. Be nice to see what new subjects we can add.................

I'd like to know if this thread qualifies as a "zombie" thread..........Surprise

MMMMM, good question, but i would say no. Its been less than 2 years and it was revived by the original poster.

However, we could start a thread and discuss it Big Smile

LOL! It's actually a thread that was started almost 4 years ago now if you look at the original post date. Not quite zombie but it's definitely not new either. Wink

This.............

would be one of the coolest additions to any model display area. A 1/48 scale He-111Z. Where did you come up with that at?

Real G: I'm going to end up with one of those Haunebu kits. It was the reason for my avatar change a couple of weeks back. Very interesting right along with that Skoda....

Lol Allan, not sure I'd say I was 'into' such things but I find that the Japanese make such a thing hilarious and had to have them. I've only seen them on HobbyLink Japan where was looking for some Japanese soldier figures and came across them (HONEST!!!)

LINK

At the same time I was looking for a good book on Japanese army uniforms and found about two- and five or so on schoolgirl uniforms... Indifferent

Yeah, of course, I never said you were into it. Im not into it as well, I just, like you, find them, well, hilarious. lol.

So, books about Japanese schoolgirl uniforms, huh?  lol.

Nope, my 'thing' is more for Korean Cowgirls... Stick out tongue

My weirdest isn't so much a kit but a conversion.  I have a resin wing for a 1/48 He111Z to go with two Revellogram He111 kits.  I built this year's ago but was damaged beyond repair when one of my cats knocked it off the shelf.  Was able to save the center wing and miscellaneous little parts. Will one day build this again. This is pictured with a 1/48 Bf109
