 PaperPanzer:

Sorry I'm late...

Gamera: Score! Where'd you get the Dalek?

I'm a bit too lazy to take my own box pics, here's mine- (not taking any credit!!!)

For Aircraft, it's got to be Smer's Amoit 143-http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh619/paperpanzer/0aa669bb222d89d8341173862fdb.jpg

Now that Amiot is actually on my "watch list". I seem to have been bitten by a French aircraft bug of some sort recently. Hmm And that one is just soooo odd looking I need to grab one. How are the clear parts in the Smer boxing?

Clear parts are okay in mine, but there's a complete lack of interior detail. I also want to snap up a Bloch M.B.2 and Farman F22.2...

lmao - rumour is that "ugliness" was one of the factors the french used when choosing their bombers.Wink Love to see one built up for that upcoming GB.

I have a 1/48 Tamiya Limited edition Dewoitine D.520 with some aftermarket parts in my stash,
Maybe I will join in if I get the oppertunity, as I want join a bazillion GB's I will first finish what I'm doing now actually.

What I like about the Amoit is the 'chin' in front of the aircraft (which looks to me) to be very inspired from the gondols you'd find below zeppelins, know what I'm saying?

With regards, Ninetalis.

Ninetalis: You think the Amiot is funky, just look at the other two 1930's bombers the french came up with! (good lord!)Indifferent

Sure thing Vance! Will you post the GB in the aircraft or GB forum? Been reading about this idea for awhile, it was tossed around in Tigerman's Steel Cats GB Feeler.

Please, put it in the GB forum, I hate it when it is posted in the aircraft forum...
And yeah, I know quite a lot of planes the french flew, Belgium and France are very close to be honest....

And as I said, I'll see if I will be able to join the GB first, first gonna finish some others,
If you want a Badge, you can allways ask me.

Will make sure it's in the GB zone, easier to spot that way.

Dewontinie D510 -

Sorry, I couldn't find any no larger Images. The last two are in Belgian markings to avoid confusion.

You also had a Belgian brand of planes, called 'Stampe & Vertongen'
Some of these were build in france to.
A pitty nobody builds em in 1/48...

Maybe I'll scratchbuild of these someday...
I also had the honour of fying with somebody FOR FREE in his S&V.4 at the Stampe & Vertongen Airshow last month to!

Ninetalis: You are so lucky! I've never flown in my life! Awesome in an old warbird!

VanceCrozier: Maybe you should start the feeler for the GB first, to gauge overall interest, I'll jump in regardless, start it now if you want, even if your other GB schedules are packed, set the date 'till when you think you can start construction, seems like me and Ninetalis are ready to build soon, anyway, it is summer break, so lots of chances to build something!

Sorry about that... The idea came up in the Sweedish (Saab) GB as a possible follow up when that one gets finished. For some reason I could have sworn you were in that GB with us. Hmm Ooops.

Most of those posted in here are not "Group Builds" in the classic sense, but rather "Build-alongs", with no official start-end dates, no building parameters,  and no "badges"...

End dates etc can be fairly slack - from what I've seen it's a pretty liberal bunch here.

Thanks Borg! Didn't know that, But I don't think I'll find that one anymore...

Hans, I can't really agree, Grumman GB? Bf109 GB? B-17 GB?
All have badges and start and end date,
I could agree when you mean Manstein's GB's, these are build alongs yes, but even they have badges and end dates, but they are less... visible

Vance, If you are interested, I have made this during my boredomness...

Could edit the date, size or anything else you'd want...
