TJ: You just saved the resin mid-wing section and not the rest?

The plastic was in pretty sad shape after the fall. Did a nose dive from about 5 feet up onto a cement floor. Both nose cones were shattered and just about every seam was split. Was able to save the paddle blades for the props. Of course they were all individualized.  What a mess

Joe I bought this in the mid 90's from a company that is no longer around.  This thing was huge. I think the wingspan was around 28"   Here is a pic of a pic. This is on my picnic table to give you a size idea.

Those things are monsters. If I had the chance to buy one big kit it would be between this one or a 1/48 scale He-177.

.........combining the two would make a good inspiration for a 1950s style Sci-Fi B movie, too! Big Smile

A time-traveling amoeba???

BTW: I hope the amoeba isn't life-sized. I'd need a stronger Opti-visor...

Get the Moebius 1/32 scale Proteus and build it 'flying' under the amoeba.
