Kapitan Andrea and I are back in gear! The move went well, and we're adapting to our new lives in a new home and anew place. I won't say it was entirely easy, but we've persevered. I was able to get back to the bench in early December, but this is the first time I've been ready to post again- read on!
I did respond Chuck but guessed you may have missed it. TY agin for your kind and valuable attention to
my question about beading tools and also on your incredable WIP's . These tools are next on my tool buying list.
I'm finally retired. Now time I got, money I don't.
Lookin forward to the build Chuk - always enjoy!!!
Jay Jay Pardon my ignorance, but what's a beading tool and where can I can 1 ?

Didn't see a response Jay Jay but here's a link to the ones from UMM. http://umm-usa.com/onlinestore/product_info.php?cPath=21_28&products_id=1322&osCsid=9ce8814cc4a4e4f20877af98920db59c
Thanks, guys! Well, we are moved in to our new home in Coupeville, on Whidbey Island in Washington! Well, almost moved in. We're expecting a Pod to get to Everett on Dec1- containing the first layer of stuff we had to pack to "stage" our Rdondo Beach house. Guess what's in that pod? Yup, the MiG, plus lots of other modeling and art supplies, to name but a small selection. I'll get back to modeling next month, so please stay tuned!
Once again Chuck is building a masterpiece, looking forward to watching this one!

Many thanks for all the kind words!
Friends, life has been really busy as of late- but good things are coming. This may be my last update for a couple of months- we'll have to see what happens. In the meantime, Kapitain Andreea is back to show you the latest. Cheers!
Very nice presentation, your attention to detail is magnificence. I will be following this build.
Good to see you starting a new project Chuk, will be following along as always.
Ty Knight for the info.
I have tried many different tools to make rivets in 1/48 scale , all of which where unsatisfactory to me. Yours look like the ticket I'm looking for. I hope I'm not going to get sticker shock when I find the price however.
Looking forward to watching this come together Chuk
Looking forward to following this build. She should build up into a really nice kit...Douglas
"Build what YOU want, the way YOU want, and above all have fun!" - RIP Modeler Al.
Time for a new project! The kindly folks at Icaerodesign approached to review and build their recent conversion set that allows one to build a Romanian version of the famous MiG fighter. They gave me an Eduard "overtrees" kit, their resin conversion and and an extra baggie of resin treats. In case you missed my review, you can see it here: or here. Let's kick this off!
