Beautiful build. With it all being the same color kinda looks like the planes we built as kids. No paint just build. John

Toshi,

She looks great!  The B/W photos make her look like something a North American manager might have on their desk in the 1940s.

Even in color it looks B&W. Pretty cool Toshi. You went a direction I would never have considered and you pulled it off. That is one cool build.

To tempestjohnny,

The process is almost the same except where the glued areas are, they must be sanded or etched.  Several parts were in need of paint.  Thanks for the visit and reply.

Thank you sir.  I have a Tamiya 1:32 F4U Corsair.  I made one six months ago and dropped it during assembly, it just never looked the same.  Hence my need to build this Corsair without dropping it and hopefully what skill I've acquired can be improved on this second build.

What's great is that I can utilize the first Corsair as a template.  My goal is to improve this final Corsair build as I feel this is Tamiya's best model.  Of course I will discriminate all other aircraft as I am a Corsair fan, so I have to say that!  LOL!

Thank you for the read and reply, your support means a lot to me.

To my fellow forum members,

Please except my apologies.  I completely missed these photos.  I got way too excited on my next build, Tamiya 1:32 F4U Corsair.

Toshi, that is a real beaut. I was dubious about how this would turn out given the chrome finish. But you have tackled it really well and pulled this off nicely.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Toshi -

What a great concept, as one of the others suggested, it does look like those that some exec's had on their desks.

You have another fine accomplishment in your logbook of builds, now you're making me look like a piker, at most I finish maybe one or two 1:72 models per month.

Thanks for the posts and photos, (bet I'll check tomorrow and there will the completed 2nd Corsair.)

Thank you sir.  Sometimes I do, sometimes I can't.  LOL!  Seriously, I suffered a TBI.  I'm unable to conceptually keep track of time at times.  Some days I'm good, some days it's bad.  Hence I work really hard on my good days as I can never know when I'll hit a stretch of a bad day.  Thank you for following my thread as well as the read and reply.

Fantastic job Toshi! Another home run for you my friend. If you keep this rate of building up the members here will need to start a fund to get you a hanger built to house them all in! Again excellent job!

That is certainly a clean and shiny bright model. As previously mentioned looks like either a trophy or an execs desk piece.

Great job Toshi.
